  1. You are replying to a post from 2009 and the original poster may not see it now. Check the dates of threads before replying! Just FYI
  2. I am a linguist. I think you just said: "I am a goddess. Get on your knees and worship me, you dog." in a 4th century BC obsolete Egyptian language. Been using a ouija board lately?? I think you channeled someone.
  3. There is no wheat listed in the ingredients list. No malt or rye either. Okay, so that's good so far. Do you see where it says: May Contain: tree nuts. That is a disclosure statement. Even though there are no tree nuts IN the product (just peanuts), they are telling you it is possible the product was run on shared equipment with tree nuts...
  4. But, I have the proven gluten antidote!! I am invincible. (see my big shiny sword? Whoops, swung it too hard and spilled my coffee...crappers!!) I bought the gluten antidote off the internet from (XX COMPANY SPAMMED THE FORUM BANNED AND PRODUCT DELETED XXXXXX) mwahahaha
  5. So....I went to the dentist today and the hygenist tells me: " I'm the one who researched all the products we use when you came here last year. The Dr. was worried about you. I am glad I am doing your cleaning today." Before I can ask, she says " I am only going to use pumice, okay?" She says she will not use the mint floss as she could not get a straight...
  6. That's because we are not REALLY sick, honey---we're just anxious and depressed and......wait for it......menopausal.....
  7. I can't speak for my compadres, but I personally have the rope tied and ready right here for stringing up... I mean it, Chad, don't make me come over there....I am not very big, but I'm "scrappy"

  9. BUGGERS! I like cream and two sprinkles of pixie dust in my coffee.
  10. So, after I posted my cynical thoughts about the medical profession this AM, I went to the dentist and the Newsweek magazine just fell open to THIS article (honest) and I laughed and thought, O M G! they have to see this. Here is one tidbit: "The average time a patient has to present his concerns before being interrupted by the doctor? ...
  11. Think Big Pharma controls the health care profession? I was never this jaded in my thinking until the last few years when I received the worst medical "care" possible. No help; just a shoebox full of drugs. You can't believe the stuff I was given just to pacify me. Doctors push meds --to "symptom-treat" before they even try to think of a CAUSE...
  12. Yes, please do!! Hope you have a good time!!
  13. Probiotics can't hurt you, only help you. However, keep in mind that anything we suggest on the site is not intended to be medical advice. If you have not yet seen a doctor for your various gastrointestinal symptoms, maybe you should. We have no idea what may be causing the bloating in you. Best wishes, IH
  14. There is, indeed, a lactose intolerance test.
  15. My cousin with Crohn's (and RA and thyroid disease) read the info I sent to my large family. They ALL have major gastro issues,(try finding a GB left among us! lactose intolerance, "IBS", GERD, colitis, diverticulitis, etc. ) various AI diseases (MS, diabetes, asthma, RA, Thyroid) and neuro/psych issues. My rather graphic description of my 3- year decline...
  16. Looks like Sherry Lynn's may well have been the first, but others have sprung up. That's awesome! Just to clarify: Sherry's is not just a bakery. They offer full meals, baked goods and products. Her equipment was all new, never used in a restaurant before. Pristine No one can bring any food or beverages in--not even the employees. No CC here!! ...
  17. The migraine story made me recall..a few years ago, hubs took me to the ER for a vicious migraine, complete with vomiting and light flashes. I have on sunglasses (it is night time now ) and I just wish someone would rip my head off so it will stop. She is having trouble finding a vein to put in an IV to hydrate me and ends up butchering my arms, finally deciding...
  18.  I usually say "for the love of mike", but he said the same thing....
  19. DOH! K, now you KNOW the space alien community will be all over this like a cheap suit. For pete's sake....this thread will just not die!!
  20. I don't know, hon--just guessing about what others may have read into your words...as I said, I did get what you meant!! Yes, I know you're a veteran. I saw some of your posts and these guys all know you well! Cheers, IH
  21. Yes, I used ghee with the understanding that it is an ANTI-INFLAMMATORY. "Ayurveda medicine has traditionally used ghee in place of butter for its various healing benefits, according to Yoga Journal online. One benefit of incorporating ghee into the diet is its anti-inflammatory properties. Ghee is thought to naturally lubricate connective tissues in...
  22. At first, when I read what you wrote, it sure sounded as if you meant that. Then, I reread it again and decided otherwise. But it may be confusing, I think because you used the phrase "my old celiac pain" is back and "it IS the coffee".... & that may have been confusing to some readers??
  23. NOPE!!!!!!!!!! (groan) really?? not funny. Asolutely not, Keurig brand K cups ARE gluten-free!!
  24. I used ghee, too without issues.
