  1. its possible... I looked it up on wikipedia, but its general area that it is located in is the underarm, the butt, under breasts, etc. Places where there are alot of friction. I've noted that i've had them on my inner elbow area and on my wrist (outer). I've also gotten them on my sholders, mid-upper arm and lower arm. On a rarity i've gotten them on...
  2. I've heard that the reaction to gluten between NCGI and Celiac is the same except for the no intestine damage. You could at this point ask for the genetic testing to be done. It isn't enough for a dx of course, but it could help point in the right direction.
  3. Ow... ow... ow..... that has to be painful.... Just a thought, have you considerd doing the genetic test for celiac? its a good first step and while it won't get the dx, it can help point in a direction.
  4. My stomach is still sort of blah... i'm blaming the milk i had yesterday... it was a day past its date. I didn't drink it all but still
  5. No reason to freak out. This condition is a lot easier to manage than others. Yes, it is serious. But don't start the diet until after all of your testing is done. Yes, your children need to be tested as this condition is genetic.
  6. Beef soup me thinks will be for dinner.
  7. Luckily i've never had a root canal i have had four major fillings though (on my very back four teeth no less). I actually became un-numbed during one of them whilst he was working on it, not fun (he did call be brave though). I've always had strong roots on my teeth. When i had my baby teeth, most of them (i kid not there were maybe 5 i got out myself...
  8. I don't touch chemicals unless i have to (family history of major allergies to them). I normally only wear cotton things on top of it. I tried the fish oil once before and it didn't cut it. Right now i only use vanicream on it because it doesn't irritate it at all.
  9. They also like to show up either on my sholders, in my inner elbow region, and on my wrist. Moving whilst having them is not fun at all.
  10. My GERD has decided to say hi tonight. Probably because i was so stressed today :/ Its at the stage of "enough to be annoying, but not enough to take something for".
  11. I'm assuming she had the blood test that can test for the allergies, a skin test, or at the very least an elimination diet.
  12. No its not lol. I had a sweet potato. My stomach was off today so i went with something on the plain and basic side
  13. Think so? They've never really been itchy when i'd get them (sometimes though, especially post drainage).
  14. hmmm... Before i went gluten free i used to break out in really, really bad blister/cyst things on my arms (which already have enough issues). They would be very painful once 'popped' (before and after) and create a crater type thing. I have noticed that i hardly ever get them anymore. The last one i got was over thanksgiving break... and its just about...
  15. It is always possible to develop one. I think the fact that ya have one already puts ya at a slightly higher risk, but treating it early enough probably stopped it from getting any higher.
  16. I took a nap and had a dream that there was a massive tarantula in my house
  17. I suggest she find another doctor. For example, i had a nurse practitioner run mine. As for the cc thing, when you are trying to eliminate it, you need to remove every source, including what is in meds.
  18. soup, salads, pastas, cassoroles, it can be substituted for just about any chicken dish.
  19. I would just like to point out, that with any test there is always a possibility for a false positive. Be it due to a machine or human error. It is just really, really rare.
  20. Just because your blood tests were negative, doesn't mean that the biopsy will be. I believe you got crosscontaminated by the fries.
  21. Look at it this way, since he is so young, and if this really is the issue, then he can be taught how to manage it properly (not saying that adults can't, just that children seem to adapt better to change). The endoscopy isn't to bad at all. Just a small sore throat. Once that is through and if the rest of the celiac panel was done, then i'd say do a gluten...
  22. mmm i've got a wii (its blue <3) and a few other systems. I can certainly understand that. I rarely get new games anymore (currently doing my Majora's mask run on the wii virtual console, if i can ever get my homework done), but when i do i try to find rare rpgs. Mainly ps2, gamecube, and wii ones. Until my other system gets more games (ps3) that i adore...
  23. i don't do bread in a traditional sense, I do however like corn tortillas.
  24. You can request records if you are in the U.S. Also consider looking into the genetic test.
