  1. Anybody know if ragu pizza sauce is gluten-free?? Thanks!
  2. Please be careful when looking at the numbers. Different labs have different values for negative and positive. It all depends on where your bloodwork is sent. The lab should provide the doctor with thier specific normal and abnormal ranges.
  3. I found a gluten free pizza crust mix made by Arrowhead Mills at SuperTarget. It was with all the other pizza stuff.(and less that 6 dollars!!! ) I have not tried it yet. Will let you know when I do.

  7. Mine was 187. 3 months gluten-free it was 25. I just did my 6 month testing but haven't got result back yet. I am hoping it will be in the norml range.
  8. That's great news about going back to work!! I couldn't eat any solids from midnight and no liquids 3 hours prior to the procedure. Good luck tomorrow.
  9. Then definately get your celiac antibodies checked!! See what they are then maybe another endoscopy . It is too bad your GI doc did not have the foresight to check your small bowel while he was in there the first time.
  10. Get the celiac panel run to be sure but you already had an endoscopy???? Did they take samples from your small bowel for analysis. That should tell your GI doc if celiac is present. Alot of your symptoms could be celiac. I have that poking back pain and burning but I'm not convinced it is due to celiac....but who knows I hope you find your answers.

    ARCHIVED Kinnikinnick

Check your local health food store. Alot carry the kinnikinnick bread. If they don't they may order it in for you. Having said that the only way it is at all edible is toasted. I does make good BLT's
  12. Kraft honey BBQ is really good and it is gluten-free...I think it is free of the other things too. I've tried Annie's and unless you see something in the kraft sauces you can't have I would recomend those over the Annie's sauce.
  13. Hi Lisa, I feel your frustration. I have been gluten-free for almost 6 months and am still not healed. I have good days and not so good days. I was so convinced something else was wrong that I saw LOTS of specialists and so far everything looks good... except my villi . My symptoms are all neurlogical and my neurologist is still saying give it time. Everyone...

    ARCHIVED Restaurants

I also had a problem with the Outback I didn't get sick because I left after they brought me a salad full of croutons and a loaf of bread. I wrote the company but I did not get any kind of response as of yet which is also disappointing!! On a brighter note I went to PF Changs yesterday and had a fabulous meal. That is a restaurant that knows how to...
  17. I don't know if it is inflammation or not...My opthamologist said all looked good but I have a chronic pain above my left eye and a feeling of pressure around it. It feels like something is poking it but no doc can tell my why..... I am just assuming it is related to all this celiac stuff and hoping it will go away soon!
  18. Whole foods has a list of everything gluten-free in thier store. Ask at customer service and they will print you a copy.

    ARCHIVED Outback Steakhouse

I did write a letter to their corperate office to let them know and hopefully will get a reply! It is not the fault of the staff there but a huge corperate mistake in failing to properly train thier staff. Maybe my letter will make them more aware.... we can always hope I will definanetly go there again but I was very disappointed in my visit yesterday...
  21. OK I am very sad I went to the Outback Steakhouse tonight for dinner, and asked for a gluten-free menu. Our waiter did not seem to sure what that was(first bad vibe!!) and then remembered where they were. I then thought I educated him on the finer points of what gluten-free means and that I get VERY ill if any contamination happens. He seemed to understand...
  22. It melts great in a crock pot!! I do it all the time for queso dip! I haven't tried it on the stove top but if you cut the velvetta up in small squares and put them in the pot on high it works great, it will take about an hour but it is nice and creamy. For great queso just add a can of rotel (or 2 if it is a big block), and some cooked ground sausage if...
  23. Hi Carrielynn, They are both on the list of drugs at glutenfreedrugs.com so I think you are safe with the gluten thing.... he might be allergic to the antibiotics themselves. I would call your pharmacist and talk to them about it!! You just might need a different antibiotic that your pediatrician on call could call in for you. Hope this helps!
  24. I was recalled for bloodwork too only to find out that it was because the first sample I gave broke in the centrifuge!! I had a repeat bloodwork 13 weeks gluten-free and it was still positive. It was much better but still positive. It all depends on how much damage you had before going gluten-free. I would still have it done now and if it comes back...
  25. It is on the safe list from the celiacsociety.com. It was updated in July 2005.
