    I belong to a prescription plan that likes to use generics. I was taking Synthroid and still do. After talking to my insurance plan they put in my records - no substitutions as it was just too iffy. They had just come out with a generic synthroid and THEY could not find out if there was gluten in it. That was last winter. Maybe by now someone knows....

    For MANY years I would get Bronchitis so severly that I would end up as a patient in the hospital or intensive care. I had an 18 hour window to get on antibiotics before I ended up in the hospital. And of course this would always happen on a weekend LOL. Had the pneumonia shot and exactly 2 weeks later I had pneumonia and again landed in the hospital....

    I was told that Iodized salt has gluten in it - something to do with the iodine. To be absolutely safe, I choose not to use it. I bring a small salt shaker in my purse to restaurents.     My nails had the deep ridges for years (toes and fingers). They finally diappeared about 6 to 8 months ago. I had been gluten-free for about 10 to 12 months when they finally left.     I have been tested for food allergies and they came up with all dairy products, soy, corn. egg whites, peanuts. The dairy is my highest and I try to avoid it like the plague.     I was diagnosed around 25+ years ago with FM. Every pressure point was super sensitive and they tell me that I have a high pain tolerance. I sure did not feel that way at the time.
