  1. Thank you for sharing. I guessnthat is what I need to keep in mind. I ned to look for liquid hmmm..
  2. I found a baking powder that is made with potato starch commercially available at my local all organic grocer. I will hafta post the brand name once I get home.
  3. Thx Bartfull for your encouragement, information and advice. I also have the hope that I will eventually be able to add foods back into my diet. Especially dairy and cheese. I do eat organic foods already and I have grown accustomed to the fresher and better taste. The meat at Earth Fare is fresh everyday so that will be an easy one for me. I hear you...
  4. He says there is no reason I should eat the foods I feel bothers me and that no one expects me to. I also continue to keep an epi pen with me at all times. I did have intradermal tests for all the tree pollens and ragweed and grass allergies and such. They were ALL positive. My arm looked like a four-in-a-row board for about three weeks. It wasnt that...
  5. Yeah ya know it makes sense to me that they may not get results in my bllodwork but then i ask myself why it is that others test positive for their food allergies. I was thinking maybe it is a different pathway or whether it is related to celiac in that it is autoimune reaction sort of thing rather than a typicall allergic reaction. okay but do intolerances...
  6. I am finally feeling like I am getting close to breaking. I finally had all my food allergies tested and all came back negative, including the oats even though I was positive with a scratch test and had a clear reaction when I ate it. Dont have a copy of results yet but Doc said I was negative for: wheat (obviously not just an allergy), oats, corn, soy...
  7. Maybe you should just ignore the ones that did not believe the and switch to a different persuasion angle. Have you tried making a full menu of many naturally gluten free foods? Did you meet with them? Maybe allowing them to sample some delicious desserts will make them understand that any good food gets sold...period.
  8. Thx everyone! I have not been eating anything with peppers the past couple of days until today and now I am pretty bloated and feel kinda yucky. I feel tired and just not right. I am gonna stay away from them from now on. More experimentations will hopefully reveal whether it is the whole "nightshade" category. :-) One more poece of the puzzle.
  9. Oh okay well aint i lucky. Thx so much :-)
  10. Yeah you are right. I dont have a choice but to avoid washing my hair too much.
  11. UPDATE: I have been using the baking soda and my scalp feels much better. Now i just need to find something that wont make me hair too greasy but will moisturize my scalp. Thx everyone for your suggestions.
  12. I see. Well actually no cause i dont believe i have seen any yet except on "mystery diagnosis".
  13. Youre totally right about paying the CP so it wouldnt be worth it most def. I will trial nightshade free and see what happens. It will be hardest for me to give up tomatoes. I love italian foods. No creamy sauce and no tomato sauce would be a bummer. I can try pesto. Besides i dont eat pasta that often. I just got to get through the homemade learning curve...
  14. Hahahaha! Omg addy so violent! you made my day even if i read this post two days late. No but i think it will work without a doubt
  15. Yeah? I guess that is true. Idk maybe it is the fact that it just clashes with my navy uniform. Bright purple and deep navy...Eh?
  16. I have no idea either but it happened once before at another clients home. I remember they were the clear gloves. They had powder in them though so i figured that was why. These gloves today did not. It was the same thing. My hands feel like burning and itching and i happened to wipe my nose qith the bottom of the glove and my nose and lips are on fire. Never...
  17. I could swear my Immune system is just a system that has been overtaken by a devious, laughing hyena. I am now crazy allergic to vinyl gloves. Really? That's what people wear so they Don't have allergic reactions! Ohhhh Me. I wonder if I am the only one with all kinds of goofy allergies. Well I always wanted to be unique but now I just feel like I should...
  18. Both. I love bell peppers especially in soups, stir fries, omlettes and so on.
  19. When i get glutened, I get very gloomy and then will often have times of anxiety and aimless anger and irritability. It is a very strange feeling because I am naturally a really layed back and comical person, yet most of my life people thought I was very negative and introverted. The feelings I get are just that, "feelings". I cannot help it. It is almost...
  20. Peppers? Hmm I add that to just about everything. Food for thought tee hee I say the most paradoxical and stupidest things sometimes. Oh by the way and unfortunately "justlisa" has already claimed partial ownership of that catchy phrase and I cannot allow someone else to use it or it may undermind my rarity and popularity. Sorry!
  21. The only way to see any money would be to sue the FDA for not shedding light on the harms of petri dish food. Lol jk. I will be dreaming about that tonight though. I guess I will end up doing standard too. I don't have the time and energy to try and deal with all this. I know I have not spent five thousand in medical bills yet... Anyway I hope these...
  22. Sounds worthless to me. That's dumb. I love my country but the gov. Is messed up in so many ways. I buy fresh veggies b/c it is cheaper out here than buying a bunch of specialty gluten-free already made foods which are risky with multiple food allergies. I pretty much gave up looking for stuff that didn't have all my potential irritants in it. It is what...
  23. Aww poor Addy. Haha. It always seems to work out that way. I have bad aches in my low back when mine comes too and you pretty well described how it feels.
