  1. My super sensitive sense from this tells me that your husband has watched way too many twilight episodes and has a severe fear of vampires. You should try spreading salt along all the windows and buying him a bunch of little wooden crosses. It may ease is mind.
  2. Old enough to know better, but young enough to do worse! Lol I am 22.
  3. I live in a small town between Chattanooga and Cleveland. It is small enough to have big yard and privacy but just not too country where we don't have helpful neighbors when we need them. So its kinda the best of both worlds. I don't like city life either. Just visiting DC was enough for me to discover that rudeness youre talking about. The lack of morals...
  4. If you have leaky gut make sure you space meals and exercise b/c eating then exercising too soon can cause more allergies to surface. Oh and I don't think calories is a huge issue since you are overweight but vitamins is definitely important. I would think as long as you eat a good variety of fruits and veggies, you will be fine. They are a lot more filling...
  5. Whatever makes you happy. That sounds like perfect territory for the turtleman but idk about me.
  6. Thanks for all the info but... Ewwww! That is a definite drag for you. I can't imagine. Gosh where do you live? I think I would move if I could lol I am not too terribly materialistic so even if I had a house I think I would find a new place to live if I were dealing with that issue. You're brave. You are very brave. You, my friend, CAN handle the truth...
  7. Thank You barty! This will be quite an astronomical effort that I hope will one day be unnecessary. The most difficult thing I think for me will be the veggies washed in citric wash. So is like a just plain head of lettuce and whole carrots safe? I buy a lot of fresh produce at the market. Also I now understand why every time I take my vitamins I don't...
  8. It tastes great in desserts (especially with vanilla). It is also delicious in chowder. I reduced it on the stovetop and then add it last to simmer.
  9. Haha gluten-free cooking class field trip!
  10. Bless your heart. You will get through. You may have to become accustomed to making sure you have gluten free snacks and meals on hand just in case. I take American ginseng, it helps a little with overall malaysia and fatigue. I like to sip on carbonated ginger ale for nausea. Just a little bit always helps me a lot. Trying to eat and drink beverages...
  11. Okay so this is the start of the thread for homemade sauces and condiments and such. So toss your best at the board. Have at it.
  12. Yes I shall start a new thread for that right now. And yes I love just about any sauce other than ranch based sauces. Tangy and sweet Barbecue, mustard and catsup I will put on just about anything. I love mild hot sauce on chicken. I'm a pretty good cook I just don't have much experience with a lot of these homemade things. I really miss those turkey sandwiches...
  13. Oh yes my body tolerates dead dinosuars pretty well Whodathunkit?
  14. Yup! Tee hee science I'm sure has plenty of toe cramps from us
  15. Oh yes. I guess its anything corn given I react to those bottles. I thought I could get away with a little lip burning today when i ate a progress soup with corn syrup solids in it. Hehe No. That didn't turn out too good. When i heard my abdomen start make squishing sounds, I knew what was coming. I had been thickening my soups with cornstarch and I couldnt...
  16. Oh yes those are delish! Mmm! Mmm! Better than Campbell's good.
  17. You must be very good at it. I would like to do that. Maybe you can share your recipes and tricks with me?
  18. I recently discovered an allergy to it. It makes me bloat and have abdominal pain close to my ribs. It also makes my lips swell and burn, my tongue, my throat and I almost lose control over my voice if it is a lot. I wouldn't have figured it out if it weren't for the problem with certain plastics that some people on here figured out for me.
  19. Hhhh. Well here goes: I'm wondering how on earth to avoid corn entirely. How do I avoid it in plastics? What about aluminum cans lined with plastic made of possibly corn. Or medicines. Do I have to call the number on all my products just to see if they use some form of corn plant in them? It just seems quite a huge undertaking considering that corn and its...
  20. That's good then. I was never an "around in circles" car race kind of gal. I just kinda wanna know who is winning and who wins in the end.
  21. Hahaha we should all get together and create some sort of clan to hex all theglutened evildoers. Just kidding omg y'all all are just as crazy as me. I used to do this thing when i got mad as a kid where I would put my thumb and index finger up to frame my vision of their head and just pinch my fingers together like I was squeezing them like a bug. Must a...
  22. Hope that doll isn't stuffed with straw cause that ain't gluten free
  23. I think in the future I will just skip to their judgments just to show how crazy they are. Oh no I am bulemic. I binge and purge and tell ppl I have celiac so they have no idea. No I am anorexic I prefer to taste my food and quickly recycle it while it is only been exposed to stomach acid for a little while. No I don't really eat anything. I eat only...
  24. I know exactly! I think they mostly writhe over the lack of "convenience" foods myself. Oh okay I haven't really used that as a like button. I thought it was more like a rating of the quality of info given and not just a like button. Ya learn something new everyday. :-)
  25. Right. I like food that wasn't scientifically mutated in a petri dish. I mean what do they eat? Fillers and pesticides and sugar and fat and more fillers? Most of them don't even know what they are eating or the fact that it isn't really food.
