ARCHIVED Celiac Sprue & Doctor Too!

Welcome to the board, Ann! We are happy to have doctors like you who are aware (and, you are obviously more than aware!) of Celiac. We hope to see you around more! Laura
  3. In America, according to the FDA and labeling laws, spices that only have one ingredient listed, for example, "Rosemary" or "Thyme," contain only rosemary or thyme. In Dr. Green's book, he even specifically mentions (and this is relevant to the US laws) that "pure spices are gluten free." Now, if its something that has more than one ingredient...
  4. I hope that one day, "they" will shed more light on non-Celiac gluten intolerance. I really think they are missing a big part of the picture. One day we will look back and say, "Told ya so!" to all the doctors A girl can dream, right?

I don't buy any "specialty" salad dressings...I get mainstream ones. I love newman's own and ken's. hellman's makes little packets (sometimes by the salad bar) that I...
  9. i had some issues as well. your body was malnourished; it would explain it quite well. further proof that celiac can affect anything and everything, not just our GI tract. happy to hear it is back
