If you are concerned about your doctor missing the diagnosis, it may be worth it to contact a local Celiac support group to ask for a recommendation for a knowledgable doctor, and visit them with your records, including your biopsy/pathology report.   10. Maltodextrin, in the USA, is generally made from corn. If it were to be made from wheat, it would be required to be listed, like "wheat maltodextrin" or "maltodextrin (wheat)". The term is misleading because it has "malt" in it.

  14. Yes. Corn and soy do not contain wheat/rye/barley/oats gluten. Corn does contain a "gluten" but it is not the "problematic" gluten.

Kraft companies have a policy of clearly disclosing gluten ingredients, and not 'hiding' them in flavors, starches, etc. If they are there, they would be clearly listed.   25. It looks like you had the tTG IgA test done, which is one of the most specific for Celiac. However, the other tests, particularly the total IgA and EMA IgA should be done as well.
