  1. Wow... Sure does! I think I get the muscle wrap around referred pain you are talking about as well. Sometimes if I jog for too long it will detour up to my shoulder. Party.
  2. Survivormom, I would encourage you to search heart attack symptoms for women and if you think you match up, be seen by your HCP. Now, with that being said, I had the same issue. I have had heartburn and GI irritations before but the sensation I was getting was foreign to my normal. I went in for a stress test at a Cardiologists office and absolutely...
  3. I am replying to myself to say that my punctuation and sentence structure in this post is disgusting.
  4. Irish, forget Ode to Celiac I am about to have an Ode to Yule! Oops! I meant you... (It's Christmas, ya know) So, I was reading your above post and it may be the answer to the spots that arrived and grow irritated in the shower. I had started taking Osteo-Biflex and I think some of its main ingredients are derived from shellfish. I am most likely reacting...
  5. They are barely noticeable to look at me. However, they are multiplying on my chest, back, and arms. They are very small, you can't even really feel them but when I get out of the shower they look inflamed and irritated. I have had 2 or 3 singular spots that get red when I get out of the shower for years but in the last two weeks the count has gone up...
  6. Oh my gosh! I love you all, seriously!
  7. Good to know. As soon as my calcium is used up I will by a 3-in-1 (calc, zinc, mag).
  8. Hi! Congratulations on getting your diagnosis. Knowing is everything. After I was diagnosed, I went to Mayo Clinic and saw Dr. Murray. If it helps, the only thing that they insisted I supplement was Vitamin-D. Although my bone density was below average, they did not insist on a calcium supplement because they felt that with Vitamin D I would naturally...
  9. I am one year out and my blood serum antibody markers plummeted from being gluten-free. My TTG is still pretty elevated. However, I am IGA Absent. I was told that with IGA deficiency it can take longer than the average Celiac to have my tissue antibody markers begin to decline.
  10. and looked at me! I attend a really great small church. About 200 people so its pretty small. We are like a big family, really. Most of us are there on Sunday morning and evening as well as Wednesdays. Anyhow, before service people stand up and voice their desire for prayer for various people or things in their life. Well, someone requested prayer...
  11. Does the magnesium change your bowel habits at all? I have heard that it loosens a person up. I was hesitant to go there. ?
  12. I have added Osteo-BiFlex to my D, Calcium, and B12. Should I sub my calcium for a 3-1 Calc/Mag/Zinc?
  13. All Crest Oral Hygiene products are Gluten Free according to the "Gluten-Free Grocery Shopping Guide" 2012-2013 Edition.
  14. He wrote the anti-biotic but the next day my symptoms were much better so I never started it either.
  15. You are spot on with this information. I have not taken an anti-biotic for almost a year. There were a few times I really wanted to. My hcp recently wrote a script for Ceftin--spelling? Because it is not in the same family as cipro.
  16. Your workout routine is quite amazing for being one month into a gluten-free diet. Your vitamin D is low. With your intense regimen I would take a calcium supplement that includes vitamin D in the capsule, a 2 for 1 if you will. Also, make sure you are getting adequate carbs. If fat loss and muscle is your goal, my guess is that you are not. Good...
  17. What is the consensus on tendon health supplements? I'm taking a multi, Vit D, and Calcium. My feet and hands experience some aching and I'm trying to lift weights again. I have seen language regarded "chelated" magnesium, zinc, and I've seen people mention biosil or silicon. ? Is there a consensus out there on the following supplements? I don't want...
  18. Hey, Jenna. Much like yourself, I was able to quickly write off Celiac disease because my stomach was strong and I didn't have intestinal issues "per se". Aches and pains started to give it away. The scans, tests, and biopsy that followed eventually led me to a celiac disease diagnosis. So, while it is both possible and probable that you don't have...

    ARCHIVED Life Is Good

Ok, gotcha. Running doesn't really effect me that way either. Upper body/core muscle use does. I didn't have as much after my session yesterday as I had forecasted. I have been eating a banana every morning and I wonder if the extra potassium is helping as well. As for cold weather related aching--it doesn't matter for me if its warm or cold. I do...

    ARCHIVED Life Is Good

Have any of you experienced any bone aching? My density is slightly below average apparently. I've always been a runner but decided its time to suck it up and do some liftingto improve my bone strength and take some pressure off of my frame with muscle. I have some aching that isn't necessarily in my joints, do you all ever experience that? Non-muscle...
  21. I didn't see it but I know the resulting feeling that you have detailed.
  22. Thanks. Today was much better in that I did not have this experience at all. I was doing some reading and staring at computer screens yesterday. I also managed to find myself in a debate that may have been more stressful than I realized. Today, I went out on my motorcycle and did my first workout in a real long time. No headache...
  23. The right side of my head just above and in fron of my ear is intermittently aching in the evening and hurts to the touch. If I lightly run my hand over it, it hurts worse right now. Thoughts? I am only taking a multi vitamin and Vitamin D (2000IU's). My BP is 138/90.
  24. That is a great question. I have wondered about casein as well but eggs and meat do not seem to cause the same reaction that milk and ice cream or large amounts of cheese do for me. Don't know.
  25. Thanks for sharing! I've heard people mention that lactose and gluten can be concomitant issues but I've not heard someone mention that I may eventually be able to have lactose again. Good to have something to look forward to!
