Sweety:
One of the symptons of Celiac is depression. There are over 200 symptoms. When you have Celiac, the things that you need for your body to function normally as all out of wack. In your short post, it may seem that his system is truely out of wack and perhaps needs medical attention. He may be dehydrated, his sugar may be messed up, his thyroid out of range and perhaps the lack of food to his brain may effect his functions.
I would suggest to you, or contact his parents, or contact some immediate heath care services and get him into a hospital where he can be monitored.
I don't mean to scare you, but this does sound serious. Get him somewhere where he can get some blood work done and see where he is. Don't wait.
Hope you can find helpp asap.

Cissi.... you have to plow???? Good gaawwwdddd... I just wanted to throw seeds and water
to hurt the feelings of the one that lived with me my whole life, good times and bad times... but that's me and I'm a bit dramatic at times
Momma Goose.... ohhh my... I was putting myself in your place and I don't think I would see him only because "love" never dies.... true feelings never go away... I guess what I'm saying is that I wouldn't want
But... that is not really this issue. Did life stop and did your past disapear when you said those vows? I have no romantic issues with this person, but yet, he was a part of my life. Yes, he was someone in my life. Just because I am (happily) married, does that mean that I have to avoid every male person that came into my life prior to marriage. Can we not have a respective relationship with the people we knew before we were married.
I do think that there is a double standard. I am comfortable in my marriage. My husband was married before, but WE have been married for longer. If she dropped by our house, I would welcome her.
I'm talking about someone I used to date for a short time. Just a guy who wants to know how I am and ....
He, I assume, was hoping that I was single and would want to re-aquaint.
So with that said..........suggestions.?
Sorry, I messed up your post trying to find out how to highlight a quote......my goof. Try to do better.

Ok as Senator of Rachelville........
I just got solicited, as most Senators do....from a fellow I used to date in college. He then, thought I was wonderful, but not as much I did of him. THIRTY YEARS AGO. He found me though Classmates.com. Soooo, he did some searching.
He would like to see me, talk to me on the phone, and visit me in my home town... blah, blah, blah. I did tell him that I have been married for 27 years and he said "any contact is good contact"
So what does the tribunal think of this? A ghost from the past. It is very stange for me because during that time, my parents died and I have no contact with anyone in my past for almost 30 years. It has brought up memories that I thought have died long ago...and I can remember things. By the way, he is 55 and he said he has never married and has always thought of me for all these year. Gad, can't a girl get a break. And, yes, before anyone asks, Yes I am flattered, he said some pretty nice things about me (at 19, so where is the reality.)
I told my Jim about this (he's the other Jim) , and I have always entertained his female school friends with good enjoyment with no issue.
Hubby, said not problem meeting him, but in reality, he REALLY doen't think it will happen.
So, a great new issue for Rachelvillians tonight. How should I pursue this?
(On another note, the moon is getting close to full...Karen, undercover)

Write with some of your symptoms, and perhaps we can suggest Celiac or eliminate it.

Watching the news for you. Hurricanes are not strange to me either.
On another note:
The new me! As Senator of Rachelville, I have issued a statement that I shall not, nor have any intention, now, or in the future, poop in Rachelville. You have my solumn vow on on this.
Just got a new facelift here, working on the picture part (avatar). Just want to let you know that the rude, controversal he/she, and my latest best friend is no longer here.
Cheers
PS: Ya'll be careful about posting your e-mail on your personal page.
Sorry Robbin, I jumped you post.
Hope everyone here is feeling better.

ditto, what a wonderful joy you must be doing.
I meant "job", but "joy" can work as well.

Much love to you and your family.

One thought...anyone else dipping into the peanut butter? (I put a green dot on mine, that reminds other family members not to "double dip")

Delfi Forums has a Gluten Free Product list which is very helpful in the beginning.
Nini on this site has a beginners list of just about everything. PM her and she will send it on.

Hello and Welcome:
Reaction widely varies between people. When I was sick, reaction was about a half-hour. I was housebound for about two months.
August 15th is my one years gluten free anniversary. So, now, if I get glutened accidentally or cc, it takes about 24 hours for me to react.
Sorry, this probably wasn't much help. Others will post as well.

rinne...you just have a 'way with words', just put them together so well!! Hope you are feeling better by now!! I have been enjoying the southern phrases by several people, so many of them are familiar to me. Spose that is because I am from Southrn Iowa?? I have been told I have a southern drawl ( not quite you all). It is just great that Megan can go home tonight, they will all rest better at home. God is GOOD.
Good evening, evie
My maternal granparents were from Ohio and Paternal gr. parents from Pennsylvania...not sure where they stopped in between.
spose: defined or refined
: "I suppose"
-
Rinne - very well said and gave it more.....dignity.
Gimme some sugar - - v. southern, no one says it here and if they did, it would probably be called harassment...too bad.
YOu know, I was thinking about all of these wonderful traditions you all have, you in other parts of the country (not the West), shucking the corn, stewing/canning tomatoes, and other things that were mentioned....I really never saw anyone do those things in CAlifornia, except maybe our across-the-street neighbors while growing up, and they were from Mississippi. I don't know, here in the Land of Fruits and Nuts, maybe because produce is plentiful year-round, we never did those things. I think it's sad.....because those traditions, tedious as they are (Robbin - don't vomit at the sight of an ear of corn!), allow you to reap thebenefits and rewards during the long cold winters. I am jealous....my mom made jams and jellies and has canned some peaches, but that's about it. I am jealous of you guys that had farm chores and the aforementioned food chores - it builds character and teaches important lessons early in life. DAng, a whole day of ear-shucking and all of it.....very taxing but YOU will be eating your delicious creamed corn in the winter, and I will not!
Robbin, I hope you don't throw up at the site of corn on the cob..
I'm the guilty party. Please don't thow up on account of me.

I still don't know the official definition of "spinach"
At this point it seems to be just about anything
As far as I am concerned or informed, it's the primary symptom of Celiac. But, I'm not as quick as others, but it has adapted well to my use.
And use it every opportunity appropriate.

CECILE - - get on a plane and come to California,
we are having the most wonderful cooling spell! Will be praying for you back there...that is heinous...
Ugh. Wasn't finished with sewing. I am now finished but I think I'm in post-traumatic stress and could use a stiff drink. Ruined two whole days with that project.
ugh.
my mind is blank, this is what sewing does to a person, and it was such a debacle that I am....without words. how can this be?
Love the southernisms. I want some creamed corn but I want Lisa to shuck and make it for me.
Rachel - you can still sign up for the Stanford thing....I think Donna posted a link....
I feel stoned. This is weird. No nuggets today, nothing bad at all....
But my NIECE Moved to town YESTERDAY from Las Vegas and I am excited.....off to see her now!
toddle- oo everybody - - quiet day in R-ville - we need something to happen....somebody do something.....
Yes, she simply and innocently went to bed wtih a box of spinach on her tummy - and who wouldn't?
- and now we have entirely new vocabulary.....
ha ha ha ha
Sorry babe, if you want some creamed corn, you're on you own. If I see another corn on the cob, IT THINK THAT I WILL THROW UP
It took all darn day.

Susan<
You mentioned Richard Pryer. When my hubby and I were dating, we listened to him all the time. Even 27 years later we still converse in "richardisms".......Miss Ruldoff, put a mojo on his butt

Lynne, come back tomorrow with more southern girl stuff ............Oh no..........got a crap (spinach) of corn to do. Where are you, one of good intentions.......

Yeah, I know.
He was betwen chicks and thought on a whim, that I might be single. The chick movies kinda deal....long lost love reconnected thing.
It is so very strange to me (good and bad feeling) that after 30 year, someone still has thoughts of me. Flattering, oh yeah!... So for all you guys out there, talk sweet to your girl. You never know who's out there.
