Oh yes, enjoy your Johnsonville brats (but not the beer brats) they are gluten free. MSG is gluten free, but many may be sensitive to it. It is not very good for you, but it sure makes food taste better.
I eat them all the time, with mashed pot and mustard..........very good.

A strange suggestion that I have read about. Try rubbing Vick VaporRub on you feel and sleeping with sox on for about three weeks and some say it does help. See it in the newspaper alot with the "ask the doctor".
Of course, you will have to wash you sheets every other day.........but many say it helps.

ROFLMAO!!!
OK...now I've really hurt myself from busting my gut all over again!
Lisa....why would all these women be discussing hunky cops and altoids in the same sentence....if...um the cops were women??
I was wondering about your husband myself but leave it Susan to come right out and ask!
LMAO!!
SOO many things in here I don't know where to go. Who knows, maybe the hunky women cops look like men? I have never imaged a "hunky woman"
I expect they do look like men? Could we all be decieved?
Regarding my husband, well, he's straight, but not as much as he used to be.

Can I leave Jim at home when I move to R-ville? Well, as a retired airline pilot, he may be usefull.
He now makes beautiful collector boxes out of exotic wood. Perhaps he can make the boxes that we put our collection of altoids.

Karen said that I was Mayor, most gladly relinquish the post. As Senator, can I take junkets around the world with lobbiests that are my new closet and dearest friends.?

Oh yeah, the Altoidmobile would drive around Rachelville every evening between 5 and 6, slowing cruizing the neighborhood, the gingle on the altoidmoble would be _________?______________, and all the hard working men, who have just come home, all run out of their homes, just like we did when the Ice Cream truck did when we were little.
Now, what is the gingle? (thought of an old Michael Jackson song, but did not want to go there, afterall this is Rachelville
)
The Altoidmobile will have a REALLY, REALLY BIG BUN. Because we have a REALLY, REALLY BIG BAKERY in Rachelville, gluten free of course. Zoning has already passed.

Susan
Karen can have her own float, the altoid float!
Maybe it will look like the Oscar Meyer car that goes all around the country.

Quick question, Montreal Seasoning that restaurants put on prime rib and steaks...........I think it is not gluten-free, but not sure. Anyone know for sure. Not on Delfi-List.
Any help?
Thanks Lisa

Progresso Cream of Mushroom is gluten free. I usually put a little bit of sherry which makes it really good.
Or chopped up cooked chicken, warm in chicken broth, thicken with corn starch, add cream and seasonings.
easy....same with sauted mushrooms.

Susie:
You seem be be doing well the way you are doing it. Some one suggested to me to take lots of Vit. B, I am starting that and drinking lots of water.
Seem to be better today, but afternoon gets "swooshy". It will be 2 weeks next Tuesday to be totally off Lex.

No problem with store bought mushrooms....don't know about mushrooms in the woods, some are poisonous.
-
but I would not be surprised if it is not the tobacco that poisons us but all the nasty chemical additives they put in to make the cigs keep burning I think it's the chemicals too.
There are so many 'bright' minds in Rville that I bet you could come up with something...didn't the people in the old days just get the tobacco from the field and chop it and roll it and smoke it?????
Judy in Philly
Many months ago I looked up on the Phillip Morris websit and looked at the ingreds. in cigs.
Well.......about a kazzillion unpronounceable things.

Floridian-

Judy and Patti;
I want to thank you for including my name on the thank you list. But Vincent was truely behind the prayers. He kept us all updated, he made the phone callls, he made the road trips. He was there to everything available to him as well as having a job.
I simply made a phone call (networking) to someone I happened to know, who I thought POSSIBLY could expedite a secured room for the Andrews at the McD's House to make their stay a little more comfortable. Whether it helped, or things just fell into place, who knows. Maybe it was a little push on their behalf.
Never the less, they are there, Meg's is doing better and with hopes she will continue on her path. Cole is getting Mommy time and a whole pot full of people pulling for them.
I am not a religious person, but perhaps more spiritual. Praying to God is not necessarily what I do, but I am an incredibly compassionate person. Compassion is another man's religion. And there I am.
Thank you for including me in your thanks. Who would not want to help baby Meg.

It usually will say something like natural or "all wood" charcoal. It has nothing at all but wood and it looks nothing like charcoal briquettes. It looks like pieces of burned wood.
richard
How great to hear from richard:
I TOTALLY agree. Forget the "brickettes", at some high end grocery stores or Lowes, Home Depot all have "natural wood charcoal". It is just charded wood. It does not burn like brickettes, you just add to it for you next grilling. Also, buy some hichory wood chips, soak them in water and put then on the wood chips before you grill your steak, salmon, pork, tuna...... Jim also soaks a pecan board or cedar in water and cooks on the board. The cedar/pecan steam cooks into your meat/seafood..........and it is to die for.
Write and ask for directions if you truely want to have a cullinary experience on the grill.
Thanks richard for clicking in....long time no hear.

Some of us, well me tend to do a high carb diet. I add the proteins, not because I want them nor desire them, but because I need them.
I am one of the Celiac dxd persons who never liked bread, pasta, beer, or the likes of all. So would it not be the assumption, that my body was telling me what it needed and what it did not....Or could I be the exception.
In addition, my limbs are still slim, (no butt), but the ten pounds that I have gained, is mostly in my torso.
Which I think is related to a high carb diet.
I don't do alot of excersise....and I expect that Tiffany is going to jump me for not doing so. MOTIVATION HERE!!!!!????
Vincent, you weren't one of my ten best buds here until last week. Ya gotta heart, spread it around a little. Take some time to relax, it's been an emotional week for you. Do something nice for yourself on us.

I know that Chrones Disease, smoking is actually encouraged. That is if you were a smoker before dx'd.

Well babe, I guess you have to ride it out. Drink lots of water and flush as much as you can. I think that will help a little.

I will go through each issue you stated. First you said that you had sympton for 5 -6 years, that is just when the symptoms show up for you to notice. The silent damage was when you did not feel any symptoms. I expect, you as well as me, had no symptoms and gradually lost weight over years, loss of interest in food, fatique,....... So this did not begin when you felt symptoms.
You can learn more on this site than any dietitian could give your (present company excluded). Weight gain take alot to time and careful diet.
You sound like you are informed. Perhaps the nuts may be an issue. Continue cutting them from your diet and stay gluten free and see how you feel.
If you have fatigue, I have found in my early dx time, that B-12 shots were the most wonderful thing in the world. Or do a full blood panel and check any deficiencies. (expensive though) B-12 is very important at this time. Buy off the shelf. I take 2,000mg a day, after stoping the shots.
Hope this help and I hope you feel better after the nuts.
