  3. Is this unusual for a weight gain of 10 lbs in 4 weeks? I have tried to be gluten free as best as I am able at this time. Sure doing my best. I don't feel that is have a casin intollerance, but I drank a McD's vanilla shake at work and it left me in about a half hour. Other dairy products to do not affect me as I have noticed. I would like to...
  4. Thanks Rachel: That sort of made sense to me....Bed time to digest.Thanks.
  5. Rachel: As simple as you stated that, I still don't understand. You don't need to reply it, it will ingest it, tomorrow yes. But, this is what I don't understand, that during a flare up in small intestine inflamation, why would and antibiotic dose be appropriate? There are abvious "coodies" there, and why would not the antibiotics work against...

  7. What is Probiotics? What function and what does it work with?
  8. We all wish for that. In the days that I have spend hours in the grocery store I have realized that more and more product do present with "gluten free" and it is a joy to buy it. I have so much in my pantry that I bought, just because it said gulten free. I may not even have the need for it. But, you do have to understand that we are the underdogs...
  9. What richard says is correct, but I also understand your misgivings. When you are learning to read lables and doing your research it does get very confusing. There are often very big words regarding ingrediences that you don't know what they are. The best thing to to is to do a search here on the site and study, study, study. Nine times out of ten...
  10. To my knowledge, most grits are gluten free, just watch out what you put on them. I use buttter(real) and salt and pepper and a grade my own Kraft cheddar cheese. Look, sometimes on the ingredience of real better, then check the same for margerine. Lisa B.
  11. My hands tremer (shake) often and I am not sure that it is side effect of beling "glutened". To explain, when you type your hands don't seem to hit the right keys, when you hold a glass of water with ice, the ice rattles in the glass, you sometimes drop things and basically feel like you would feel comming in from the cold and shivering. This could...
  12. Not me. I'm in northeastern NC. Welcome to the board and feel free to post your interest or concern. There are alot of very informed people here, sometimes more than most doctors. We are here to help
  13. Kaiti: Just remember that I am glutened tonite.....So anything the I buy that says "gluten free" that it is safe.? If it is wheat free, I need to check the ingredience? Correct? Checking out Amy's Indian Frozen foods for breakfast (I know many may choke on my breakfast choice, but I don't like breakfast food, too blah)..........After that...

  15. Good, cause I just ate it for dinner after glutened yesterday. Thanks for your response.
  16. Wierd new visions here on the new format...wow. Keep on trying. Grandmothers have done so many things like they have always done. If they continue to buy goodies that are not appropriate, maybe you can use the "risk of cancer" and that may get there attention and maybe they will relay more on what you instruct them to do. My kids have never known...
  17. Hey Scott: You're the one to go on Oprah. Can we help get you there? Lisa B.

  23. I'm still trying to figure that out. Gluten free (as best I am able) since late August. I am still healing so it is hard to figure out the healing or glutened. 25. First of all, I can't tell you a date of the article because a friend mailed it to me and no date was included. "Choices Grow for Wheat-Free Diets" It included Wal-mart and Whole Foods Market that through popular demand, companies are scrambling to redesign their foods for the gluten free market. It also quotes Scott as saying the people with Celiac...
