    I could see why you would think that - my symptoms from lactose intolerance/from getting 'glutened' are very different. Sometimes I no longer have GI symptoms from the lactose intolerance, but I will have bad breath that will linger over 1-3 days, (depending on how much lactose I eat and if I keep eating it) the GI symptoms I do get are cramping and bloating...

    Thank you both for the feedback! That's what I plan on doing - just avoiding dairy (or at least lactose) completely for awhile, and then seeing if that resolves anything.     Is it only available at Costco? I don't have a card. :\ If any gluten free brand will do, I'll just look for any Vitamin C that doesn't contain any wheat, gluten, etc.

    Okay thank you! Good advice. Do you recommend a certain brand of Vitamin C? I do take 2 multivitamins a day (at my doctor's recommendation) but I don't think extra vitamin C could hurt.

    Maybe you're right, I know it hasn't been that long, but I was still feeling kind of sick after eating gluten free food - I think it was because of the sugar, it was feeding the candidiasis and preventing me from healing further.     Well, it looks like I'm on the right track then! The diet I am currently trying now is a no grain diet...so corn and rice will both be eliminated until I heal completely (assuming the diet works) and then I can introduce them back in slowly, one at a time.
