  1. I wondered how that worked! I like Vice President--sounds important, but no real work is involved
  2. Andrea--Does that list get longer every time you post it, or is it just me? Gotta hand it to you--you keep perfect track of all us Rachelvillians.
  3. Yes Ma'm--I'm strictly on the straight and narrow
  4. It made me cringe too, Nikki. She's in Intensive Care, for heaven's sake. Hoping everything continues to improve, especially the fever.
  5. This is great, Chrissy! My best wishes to Tianna
  6. I have this on my heels, too--but only in the summer when I wear sandals every day. In the colder months, when I wear closed shoes or sneakers with socks or hose, they clear up and smooth out. It's the same with me--if I stay on it, and use the pumice stone and moisturizer almost daily, it helps a lot. (But i'm lazy and don't do this as often as I should...
  7. Glad to see you're doing ok!
  8. Nope--not done yet This is turning into quite the production. Hope to get it buttoned up by the end of the week. I feel for you being surrounded by all of the gluten! It would drive me nuts. I knew it would! I'll bet that would work--I can't try it cause I'm very intolerant to coconut.
  9. Aw Vincent--don't feel left out! You know when we say "ladies", we mean you, too Your real ice cream sounds heavenly--
  10. I believe the shelf life dry is a year (unopened or in an airtight container), after mixing with water, it's a week.
  11. Armetta--I emailed Vance's and they got back to me with several recipes for ice cream. I printed them off, and deleated the email. The thing I notice about the recipes is that they use things like gelatine and eggs--both of which I don't want to use. The ice cream also comes out of the machine nice and soft, like custard--but when you transfer it to a...
  12. I've stayed off this thread, also, because as a Catholic, I have my own feelings on the matter. I didn't think my feelings were particularly relevent to the original poster's question so I refrained. Thank you Lynne for stating your feelings so eloquently. You, naive? Never
  13. Hi Celia! Good to see you So, today's moving day? Sounds hectic--moving and being in "transition" is not fun. Hope everything goes smoothly Yep--I have the same Cuisinart as Vincent. Actually he suggested it to me Robbin, I'm so sorry to hear that you had such a rough day yesterday. I can't imagine having a problem with my eyes--I guess...
  14. Hi Miamia How are things today? I have not used dairy in over 2 years. I use Vance's Dari Free. It's a potato-based milk substitute--it contains no soy, grain, nuts or gluten. It makes pretty good "ice cream!" Open Original Shared Link
  15. Hi Susan--Good to hear you feeling so chipper! My rec. on the ice cream machine--get the Cuisinart. Several of us have it--it's very easy to use!
  16. I'll bet it will--I had a lot of itchiness on my upper arms. I've been eating this way for a while now, and I don't itch anymore at all. Now, if I could do something about these hot flashes!
  17. Darn time difference--it's 9:02 here
  18. Celia--How exciting for the kids! I hope it all works out and everything goes along smoothly (and quickly) Andrea--Thanks for the Megan update--good news! Susan--you crack me up Are we feeling better today? Karen--By all means, design your costume! I would really love to see what you have in mind I hope Rachel's hitting one out...
  19. Thank goodness for this wonderful news from Tanya!
  20. I get this symptom, too. I wear a night guard to bed because I clench so hard I cause myself head/neck aches.
  21. Lisa--you're killin' me!
  22. The smell of mayonnaise makes me retch.
  23. Googled it, did we, Andrea?
  24. Sorry--hope it passes quickly. I find mashed potatoes and bananas help.
