  1. Back again, lol! Well apparently they read all the feedback because the shipping thing was better, and they had a USPS option which was MUCH cheaper than the DHL which was still at $29.??. The USPS was $12.??, which is still higher than it used to be, but is in my range of acceptability, lol.

    So I ordered

Super Personal Custom Kit (12 items)

    Personal Mini Kit

    Free sample kit

I'd gladly post what I ordered but they didn't break it down, lol. In the personal mini kit I'm getting samples of some of the new blushes and maybe some of the eyeshadows (who can remember--I filled this one two days ago, lol).

In the free sample kit I'm getting:

3 different formulations of the new Golden color

    Yard Sale blush

    Pearl Sunlight Concealor

In the Super Full kit I'm getting:

    Lip glosses:

    English Muffin

    Soccer Practice

    the white one

    Blush:

Soft touch (which I love and only have a small size of)

    Summer Stroll

    Concealors:

all the rest of the pearl concealors, lol

    Pressed powders:

    Golden Fair

    Yellow

    The lavendar everyday everywear cream

    Puff jar

  2. Mango!

Julie, nope, never got the darned thing filled. I'm having all kinds of problems ordering. I can get the two kits filled, but for a while I couldn't get to my cart to actually order it. Then I got to the cart, but noticed they had my wrong billing address, so changed that to my home address, but then couldn't select a shipping choice and couldn't get past that screen.

I finally discovered that it had a problem with me using two different addresses, so I changed my shipping address to match my billing address...that worked and I got my shipping options, but standard DHL ground is $29.68!!!!!!! Heck, I can get overnight express for THAT much money, lol!!!

Then, everytime I navigate away from the site and go back later, the selection I have in the $50.00 disappear and I have to do it all over again...the personal mini kit items seem to remain. I haven't tried the old full size kit...maybe it's just the new kits that have problems.

So, I've sent them a few FEEDBACK entries, lol. I was really close to hitting the submit button this last time, but I just can't go for that $29.68 shipping charge...heck, that's HALF of my product cost, lol.

  3. Is your back better today?

Yes, it actually is, lol. I can actually stand up without much pain.

Donna!! Your bunion, your back, your uninvited bugger guests in your intestinal tract...

I am thinking a massage is in your near future

 YES, FRIDAY, lol! I just had one last Saturday and I signed up for 30 minutes at work (they bring in a massage therapist every two weeks). This week is table massage, so I signed up for 30 minutes. The only bad part is that afterwards I won't want to work. :P

what exactly are neurotransmitters? i think i heard some people talking a lot about it, and that lyme can throw it off, but i don't know much about it

Those are things like ephinephrine, norepinephrine, etc. They are tied in with the adrenals and such. I'll see if I can find the pamphlet at home and post some info about it.

I'm alive!!! :P That was no fun at all! I'm certainly glad it's over. The surgeon tried to talk us out of getting a port, and doing a PICC instead, but I kindly said no. ;)

Yay, glad you are alive, lol!!!

  4. Wow, I didn't even know they rolled over to the new site, lol. There ARE some new colors though...even since the last time I posted about them.

Looks like I'll have to venture over and take a look. (Okay, what that actually means is ORDER, lol).

I get that message that the boards are down all the time, but I just click again and it works.

Paula, are you my long lost twin?! We DO seem to be able to wear the same colors, lol!

  5. By the way....how was the VCS for you guys that took it?? Could you guys not see the bars? For me the lines were pretty clear I went through it really fast because I could see everything on the screen. Towards the end there were a few that appeared blank to me.

Yeah, lots of the boxes just looked blank to me. If I stared at some of them long enough I "thought" I could see something so I guessed, lol.

I was just wondering how much sleep does everyone get. Like hat time do u usually go to bed and what time do you get up, When I read that carla gets up at 10, it made me think of this.

I go to bed between 9-11 and get up at about 5 every morning. If I sleep in it is til 6 am.

I don't get much, lol. I was going to bed between 8 and 9 and waking up at 3-4...I could sleep a bit later if I didn't have to work...had to get up at 4:15 for work. On weekends I would go to bed at 9:00 and wake up around 5...that's never solid sleep though. I wake up MANY times during the night and how long I stay awake each time varies...at least one of those times I get up to use the restroom.

Now that I've adjusted my work schedule, I'm trying to stay up until at least 9:30, and I am tending to wake up around 4 or 4:30, but have slept as long as 5:00. Again, I still wake up many times during the night, but I think I'm falling back asleep quicker each time.

My LLMD wanted me to adjust my hours later and I'm thinking he was right, lol.

    Everyone,

My back was really sore all weekend so I stayed off teh computer. I am falling apart!

  6. OMGosh, what is the world coming to when Rachel passes a toxicity test!

Thanks one and all for the commiseration (how do you spell that stupid word anyway, lol).

Well, last night I took my last Tindamax and the last Amphotericin-B!!! Hope all the stupid bugs are gone.

I'm caught up reading, just don't have a lot to comment on that hasn't already been said, lol. My back is killing me today so just came on to say hello...going back to the couch now, lol.

  7. Did my birthday come and go already!!?

:lol: Donna, its still my birthday...and we are in the same time zone so it'll still be my birthday for another 12 hours or so. :P

 yeah, I got confused! Andreas post saying happy birthday was from last night, so I thought I missed it! :P It didn't occur to me that it was almost midnight when she posted that.:lol::ph34r::ph34r:

    Everyone,

I may be getting surgery on my toe. I saw the doctor today, and there isn't much else they can do for it, and it WILL get worse over time. It's already starting to affect my life and limit my activity, so I can't imagine WORSE. I don't know, I'll think about it some more, but he's getting the pre-authorization from my insurance company and that's good for 3 months. I'm not obligated to have the surgery, but that part of it will be done if I go ahead. I see Dr. S next week, so I'll talk to him about it too...I know lots of people on LN have toe pain, but I'm not sure how many have a bunion with that and to what extent Lyme and my gaining weight have to do with the amount of pain I have.

Bunions are sort of hereditary, I got mine from my MOTHER!!! Anyway, the surgery sounds pretty scarey, but they do a lot of them, and I have a friend who just had it done and she is SOOOO much better than before. Still, there are sometimes complications, so I have to think about it pretty thoroughly.

  8. Yeah, it's every couple of months or so. It isn't a treatment, but rather a way of seeing what is going on in your body at that point in time. So, it is useful as you are going through various treatments to see what changes are happening...also changes in medications, etc. ART was also useful for testing meds and supplements to see how my body responded to them. There were a few things that weren't harming me, but weren't helping me either...no sense taking something that isn't helping, lol.

  9. I was going to get copy of results and give her form at same time to transfer records to new Dr. Now What?? (rhetorical ?)

Still make sure you get a copy! Sometimes even when you have a positive result they will say it is negative, so definitely get a copy of the reports. There should be one for IgM and one for IgG.

  10. So, would I have to have this computer thing?

I'm not even sure it's really a "computer", lol. It was like a little metal plate thing. It wasn't much bigger than a book...and there was nothing at all hooked up to me that I remember. I know that some muscle testing is done by holding the object, then they test muscle strength, but I think it would be pretty difficult to do it on yourself. If Adam learned how though, he might be able to. Scott has an assistant when he does it, so the assistant touches me, then Scott uses the assistant's arm to test my strength. The plate thingy is very close to my head, but doesn't touch me. My mind can't see anyway possible that it can work, but it was VERY accurate for me! Amazing really.

  11. I'm the opposite, lol. I USED to be emotional, and now I feel emotionally dead! About the only "emotion" I feel is anger, lol, and THAT's mostly when driving.

Well, you're reliving MY past too then. I fell in love when I was 18...it was as close to the real thing as I know...never loved anyone like that again. He moved out of state. He called once after that, but in a strange twist of fate, I was strong and told him he made his choice. What he didn't know is that I spent HOURS in my room crying.

What you and Kassandra are describing is what I used to do ... it was like a defense mechanism for me. I was always strong. I don't really think that it's a good thing. I ended up with a lot of emotional baggage to deal with later.

I think it is a defense mechanism for me these days! Too many people left, too many people hurt me. Yeah, I got me some baggage.

I've corresponded with Nurse A. a couple times about ART. She has a video and says you can do it at home. I thought there was some kind of machine ..... can any of you who have done ART shed some light on this for me? Thanks.

Well, my only experience is with Scott. They use a little "computer" thing. They put whatever they are testing on the computer thingy, then they test your muscle strength against that. They can put combinations of things on there, or single things, etc.

  12. So, I took the test... and I have no idea how you guys got the %s. I have the page with the boxes with "x" in them saying which ones I got right and which ones I got wrong, but nothing more. It's going to be high, though... my eyes kept doing "fireworks" while I was trying to concentrate... and I could see hardly anything.

    ...

Does anyone have advice for what to do for eczema? I'm using a steroid cream on my arms, but it's also on my face now and it hurts. :( I'm currently only washing my face with either EVOO or water, and just skimmed a washcloth with very diluted castile soap over my face in the shower.

The percentage was just in a one sentence paragraph kind of at the beginning...the graphs were farther down. My right eye got 20 wrong and my left eye got 18 wrong. :P

I had eczema when I was very young, but I don't remember how we treated it. :(

I'm gonna have to email them. Donna, I paid with paypal too. I didnt want to but somehow it went to paypal.

Anyways, is this why I'm having problems getting the test? It still says I have 0 VCS's. <_<

Oh....heres my word of advice for the day.

Never fall for someone who's moving to another country!! :(

and yes...I knew all this but I'm blaming it on all the toxicity...I wasnt able to think clearly....or make smart decisions.

Yeah, the credit card payment went through paypal. I emailed them and said that nothing showed up, and about an hour or two later I got a response that said paypal could be slow and that I should log on and see if it was available then. It was.

I also wanted to say since they took the old porch out, I have been feeling better. Yesterday i cleaned out an flower bed that was full of nasty weeds and then i painted my stairs and cleaned the whole house. I think the mold in the porch was adding to lots of my no energy days lol.

    This is fantastic!! Very encouraging.
