Did y'all buy brushes from them too? I have some from BE, but I think the big brush is a little rough. I'm guessing this works like BE where you do a foundation, cover up and something to set it.
Yes, I bought their brushes...they are much softer than the BE brushes (IMHO, lol). I've also purchased some Eco brushes...I'd heard about them on the EM website forum, but could never find them in my local stores, and then one day my Long's had them. They are very soft as well.
I got confused there for a second and thought I was on facebook.So....I got my order. Hm....yes, Jasmine Tea. Lovely light purple shimmeriness.
Yes, well, more detail here though, lol. I LOVE me some light purple shimmeriness!!

I'll call you and read what Rachel posted......won't be quite as long as if she talked to you though.
Yeah, I may need the shortened version, lol!
-
Gosh Paula, yeah, maybe staying somewhere else for a while until the house thing is taken care of would help.
My stomach is in knots....I'm scared, happy, excited, nervous and relieved all at once!!!I'm so excited for you and can't wait to hear about your appointment today, but DANG, I won't be able to hear about your appointment with Dr. P!!!!!!
You should see my breakfast...it's 12 mini van's waffles, 3T almond butter, 1 banana AND 4 sausages!!! It has become comical the amount of food I have to eat!!!My mom laughs at me when we eat together.
I am so amazed that you can eat all that...not the amount, I mean the stuff, lol!!! I'm VERY happy for you! It's been a long hard journey for you and it's really encouraging to hear how well you are doing!

Yeah Jessica, it really IS addicting, lol!
Hi Jenny, welcome!!! You may want to try a foundation in the Golden, Olive or Beige category first, and try the lightest shade in those categories.
I'd definitely recommend getting the FREE sample kit first. You can order as many of those as you need to (just not at the same time) to find the right shade. The sample kit just costs a few dollars for postage, but that's better than ordering a full sized shade that may not be right for you.
You can get 3 foundation shades, a blush and a concealor in the free sample kit. You can either order one shade in three different formulations or three different shades in whatevery formulation you think might work.
I have normal to oily skin with dry patches, but I've found that I like the matte the best. The original glo looked way too "dewy", lol. The semi matte isn't bad for me, but tends to look a bit oily by the end of the day. Intensive probably has the most coverage. Matte can sometimes look a little dry when I first put it on, but that usually goes away fairly quickly for me. There can also be slight differences in shading between the different formulations.

Oh OUCH Rachel...hope your eye is okay today!
I wonder if it is possible that you are less mold toxic so now your allergy is showing up more??Gosh I hope so, lol!
-
Hope your nose clears up real soon. Do you have airborne allergies that bother you this time of year.....on top of the foods that could contribute to this........or do you think it's a cold?
Well, it really doesn't seem like a cold...at least not like any cold I've had before. It could be allergies...I suspect the mold is really high right now...we're having freaky weather...it's cold cold cold, then it's really warm, now it's cold again. In addition to having mold toxicity, I do have an allergy to it, so the mold spores in the air can get me too. I think it wouldn't have if other factors hadn't been adding to it. I really haven't had any allergy symptoms for two years, except when I eat too much dairy.

Hope you feel better soon and I'll definately be thinking of you on Monday.
Good GAWD, lol...I keep saying Monday...Surgery is a week from TUESDAY, lol. I just know I'm going to show up on the wrong day, lol!
I have to go pre-register on Thursday.
That should be fun.
At least I won't have to do it on the morning of the surgery when I'm weak from not having eaten for 36 hours.
And, if this STUPID nose doesn't clear up soon, I'm sure they won't want to do the surgery. I am MORE stuffed up today than I have been all week! Grrr!
-
Dear Donna,
Oh no! What is wrong? Is it a cold or something else? Take it easy. When is the surgery? I know you want it over with.
Hopefully, this will be taken care of soon. Surgery is always scary. We are all thinking of you, and sending positive energy your way! Keep that in mind. Let us know what happens.
I'm not sure what it is...sounds like a cold, but I'm not sneezing or coughing. Had some body aches for about an hour on Monday, but they went away, so it's not the flu. Don't have watery, itchy eyes, so it's not allergies. No signs of infection, so not a sinus infection. I'm just horribly congested, although I can breathe through my nose, and really tired, but can't sleep. I start sweating profusely, but my temperature is between 95-97, and pretty sure it's not a hot flash, lol. So, I'm stumped. It may be related to all the Hershey's Nuggets I was eating...I had ear pain last week, and that always happens if I eat too many of those, so I'm thinking it was the congestion starting and it just got worse because I didn't stop eating them. Evil Hershey's Nuggets. I haven't had any now since Monday, so OMG I might be on to something, lol.
The surgery is a week from Monday.
Donna,Sorry you have been so sick,t hink oyu got so sick cause u are so stressed about the surgery.
Yeah, the thought crossed my mind, lol. I've been pretty good about washing my hands after touching anything at work (where all the sick people are, lol).
-
OMGosh, Neo is ADORABLE!!!! You can tell from the looks on his face that he is quite the character!
-
Donna is in LOVE with the two newest lavendar eyecolors: Laptop and Jasmine Tea. These are the closest match yet to the BE colors I was using.
I'm also liking some of the newest foundation colors in the Olive category. Haven't tried Martian yet but will soon, lol.

Great pics Carla!!!

Drive by....
Hello all...been sick all week and home from work so didn't even want to get on the computer. I'm back at work today, although may not stay the whole day. I'm trying to get over whatever it is because I'm afraid they won't want to do the surgery with me sick.
Don't want the surgery, but want the tumor gone and the liver biopsied.
I did try the foot pads on Monday (I think it was Monday)...one pad one one foot, but ended up ripping it off in the middle of the night because it was making my foot feel weird. Hard to describe exactly what it was doing...it MAY be just that it was hot on my foot, or, it has adhesive on it, and I tend to not do well with adhesives, so it could have just been that. Whatever, I haven't tried another one, lol.

I don't think I looked at mine Paula, lol. I just put them in the box (because I usually have to mail them) when I'm done with them.
-
Can someone PM me the link to Carla's blog, please?
I guess I can keep up on myspace too, lol.
Update on the foot pad?I completely forgot!
Completely! I haven't been sleeping well again, but dozed off on the couch and when I woke up I just got up and went to bed...forgetting completely about the stupid pad. I'm going to definitely TRY to remember tonight, lol.

Hum, all the times I've had to spit in the vials it was either to check adrenal levels or neurotransmitter levels.
-
Omg I am stressing about my stool test. I dont think I will ever be able to go to the bathroom to do it lol
You know, my problem has always been D, but it never fails that when I have to do a stool test, I get C in a big way, lol!
-
OMGosh Paula...what a nice thing they did for you!!!
Everyone,
I've been having mild night sweats! I think they are only NOT more than mild because I'm usually awake when it happens so I throw the blanket off before I get too overheated so I don't get drenched. Within a couple of minutes I'm freezing cold again! Harumphf, lol!
I did a little foot soak with epsom salts last night (my PT wants me to soak my foot in warm water, so I decided to throw in the epsom salts). Tonight I think I'll try one detox footpad on one foot.

I'm home. Thank you for all the prayers and good wishes.
There was a lot more wrong with my colon than just diverticulitis. I also had bleeding ulcers and it was extremely twisted. It really did need to come out right away. Hopefully I'll be a lot more comfortable now. I really should have been worried about pain, because right now that's my biggest problem.
That and just trying to eat food again. At least I didn't have an ng tube.
The hospital did do a good job with the gluten-free food. I just wasn't real interested. They made sure it wasn't contaminated in any way. The bread was served in it's own little foil packets all warm and toasted. However it was extremely boring plain food. I'm so glad to be home.
Great news that you are home and doing well. I agree with the others...don't let the pain sneak up on you...much better to keep it manageable.
I'm pretty certain I'll be having the NG tube, ugg, lol!

He titrates the dose not just based on my skin reaction but my symptoms. He'll go way way out to very tiny doses (dilutions).
Yeah, mine did this too...they cut back whenever I had both kinds of reactions, then work up again, but I'd always react.
I have no idea what is going on with my body now. Every day i pop out with a new bump on my body. Im not sure if its a detox or im dying. My stomach is back in pain again today. I have been in bed crying all afternoon. If my hubby didnt have to go to work, i would still be in bed.Sorry Paula!!! I saw that you're still feeling badly today...I hope you're able to keep your date!
I don't know if I had said that I had made a mini appointment with Dr E for the end of the month. Canceling again as we don't want to strap ourselves down to where we have absolutely no wiggle room (tight enough as is). With the news of the economy and even though we wouldn't be spending as much, we'll just hold onto the funds (probable wind up going towards more chlorella though).Gosh Andrea, sorry you had to cancel!
Rachel, I'll get to meet the better health guy while I'm there.I think you'll really like him...he's fun to talk to in person!
I feel good again today .... will have to have a smoothie.Yay!!!!! And, glad that Kassandra is talking about more important stuff than health, lol!

That's the way I used to be. Out here my worst season is fall, my doctor said it was likely mold. The shots have helped a lot. So far this is my best year.
Yeah, I think that's what convinced me to stop...they actually never really did help me so when I started reacting outright to the shots themselves it just made sense to stop.
-
I know I certainly felt better after stopping my allergy shots. Mold scored 10 out of 10 on the skin scratch tests every time I had them. I started reacting every time I got a shot.
-
Yep, I tend to agree with Lisa too.
-
Gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that! I'll definitely pray for you!
-
Uggg, another sleepless night...or rather, slept okay until 2:00 then NOT, lol.
Thanks. There was an old thread resurrected and you had posted on that thread. Someone asked you a question and I mentioned that you didn't post there anymore, so I'd bet that PM was regarding amalgams, LOL!I am very excited about Germany! Less than a week away! I guess if this Bionic works I might get to meet many of you ..... I'm sure you'll want to visit when I'm healthy
The Bionic is supposed to be good at moving out metals and other toxins, in addition to getting the Lyme.
Yes, it must be, lol. They asked about binders. Heck, if I have any body parts left after surgery I'd come, lol!
Can you take an antihistamine? That sounds like some inflammation in the Eustachian tube...Hum, I guess I need to get some antihistamine...dumped my whole bottle on the floor of the airplane on my last trip to Las Vegas, lol. Yeah, funny thing is, I can almost predict when I am going to get it. I ate a whole lot of chocolate last week that had dairy, and I'm pretty sure that did it. It seems to happen any time I eat too much chocolate with dairy. I think my ear is my current "weak" spot.
I'm hoping for the absolute best, easiest scenario for you. Thanks!

Oh, and I tried the Light Martian foundation. Um, I'm on the fence about that one, lol. I could SWEAR I looked GREEN when I looked in the mirror at work. None of the other Olive family looks green, lol. It could be just my imagination (which is quite active), but I don't know. I went back to my newest purchase Buff-Linen, which is quite fair and definitely NOT green.
