I know...I saw that earlier...the brushes are dropping like flies!!! The admin on the EM board said they really underestimated the popularity of the synthetic brushes...they're working really hard to get them back in and in a good quantity.

My mom commented on my hair and on my makeup today...we had a nice little girly discussion for once. She liked my natural look. That look accomplished by: applying Intensive concealor (the yellow one) all over with a damp sponge, applying 3 layers of foundation, THEN applying some sunlight concealor just on my spots, baby bath and sunset voyage eye colors, then In the Garden at the lashline and as a liner, some mascara, waffle cone blush , and my peachy tangerine lip gloss.

Got an email from my friend finally...she's home and actually "sounded" pretty good. She's actually still considering going on the crusie, lol. Her doctor told her she can just as easily sit around on the ship as at home. I don't know about THAT, but if he okayed it... She'll have that metal plate in her ankle for a while so she joked about when we go cruising she'll set off the metal detectors.

Mom mom commented on my hair. Sheesh...whatever my hairdresser did, I want her to do it again.

Does anyone have the sunlight finishing powder? (Donna? LOL) I'm thinking of getting it as an attempt to neutralize the pink in multi-tasking. I don't know what it is though, as I can't find the ingredients. Is it corn starchy?

Yes, I have sunlight finishing powder, lol! I've got it on both lightly under and over my ivory foundation today. It's pretty translucent, so I'm not sure it would totally tone down the pink unless you put a lot on, lol. It might help a little though. I think it probably has cornstarch in it, but I'm really not sure.

The Liposomal Glutathione I take is also supposed to be more effective than the run of the mill glutathione. My doctor said that it also helps with detox issues somehow.

Anybody take glutathione? That is one of the new supps I am starting. Is it okay to continue my other supps along with?

I take a liquid liposomal glutathione...my LLMD still wants me on this...I've been taking it for about almost a year. I take it along with all my other stuff.

Yes indeedee, I will take a picture all color coded. And, that's what I did basically with my mini personal kit...although I needed some more concealor and wanted to also try a silk dust...so I got those to, lol.

I was on the Everyday Minerals Site the other day and someone posted a comment about how there is a guy on you tube doing a video comparing Mac brushes to brushes you can get at the craft store.

The brushes are for tole painting/canvas painting. The videos were really interesting.

I must admit thought I expected them to be more candy bar like (like a chocolate coated luna bar perhaps?), they are actualy quite healthy tasting, nutty and seedy, which I like.

Holy cow, is that where you shop all the time Carla?! Um, I don't think we have anything quite like that around here.

I can sort of understand the doctors not knowing a lot about medications, especially if it's not one they work with frequently, but a pharmacist really should know, or be able to find out quickly what they are dispensing. It just really sucks that we have to know more about stuff than the professionals we are going to for help.

I think some of the other girls will come into their own after a few times on stage. That first night has to be really hard. I definitely thought that the boys were better than the girls this year, regardless of what Randy said. I liked many more of the boys than I did the girls. I'm so glad we're back into Idol season again!!!

I have to agree with this, lol. From what little I saw of both nights (only the first hour of each), I think the boys did better than the girls, but I did like a couple of the girls' performances.

I think it's terrible that they add a top allergen, but it's horrible that the pharmacists can't even tell you if the medicine is safe. Manufacturers of food or medicine should not be allowed to swap ingredients that contain allergens. It should not be a guessing game for us. I can see them changing other ingredients, but not the obvious ones that will put peoples health at risk.

I heard from Dr. H tonight. He's starting me back on 1 Malarone per day because of the air hunger. I've also had night sweats .... started out as just thinking I was hot, but last night it was drenching. No other symptoms though, I generally feel normal, or what is "normal" to me, LOL.

I've been having night sweats too, and like you I thought I was just hot. I don't know...maybe it's just menopause for me, lol.

Dearest Mango....new concealors added to the BE site. They added Bisque...not sure about the peach...was that always there, lol?

Speaking of carts...I just changed mine again, lol.

Since they took away the brush I wanted, and I was mainly getting full sizes of CONCEALORS and FINISHING DUSTS, lol, I decided to get rid of my full size personal kit and get the mini kit instead.

I made the mistake of reading a thread over at EM about undertones, and that got me reading the descriptions of the different categories again, and well, I've decided that while I am probably indeed WARM, I may not be golden. So, I'm getting the mini personal kit so I can try out foundation shades... And, a free sample kit, AND a mini eye shadow kit, AND the angled brush, and the peach lip gloss.

And, so you don't go thinking that maybe I've mellowed out in my "spreadsheet" tendencies...I sat down last night and labeled all my jar lids with little stickers so I can keep my jars right side up and still know what's in there.

For anyone out there wondering, Buff Fairly Light Neutral is almost identical to BM's Fairly Light Foundation. Okay now I'm suddenly wondering what would happen if I mixed Fairly Light Neutral with Sandy Fair.... ahhh...back to my mixing lab....

I tried this makeup after reading about it on this forum and really like it! I was using BE before. It's nice that there are so many shades of foundation. Anyway, my question is if anyone has used the concealer wet? I've never used a wet concealer that wasn't already pre-made. Any advice? Thanks!

Hello and welcome!

I use my concealor wet most of the time (although not today, lol). I've done it a few different ways. I tap out a little onto a margarine lid and then:

1. wet my finger and mix it with the concealor and then dab on my under eye circles and spots

2. use a damp sponge and swirl it into the concealor and then dab onto my circles and spots

3. wet a brush and swirl into the concealor and then ...

3. mix a little of the concealor into some moisturizer and then...

Out of those three methods, the brush probably has the most control, the finger & sponge the more coverage, and the moisturizer the easiest.

My train kit is out for delivery, im so excited, but since it is ups and the guy is my jerk of a bil, i know i wont get it til like 6 or 7 tonight.
