  1. Have you tried the Autoimmune Protocol Diet? It gave my tummy a break and I started feeling better quickly. https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/aip-diet-autoimmune-protocol-diet And... https://www.thepaleomom.com/start-here/the-autoimmune-protocol/
  2. @Bill1991, I had nerve pain, peripheral neuropathy. What works for me is Benfotiamine, B Complex, B12 Cobalamine, B6 Pyridoxine, Tryptophan, and Vitamin C. I was surprised to find Vitamin C has a link to CRPS. "Other rare clinical signs of scurvy include skeletal muscle degeneration, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), cardiac hypertrophy...
  3. I would suggest the complete Celiac Disease panel. https://celiac.org/about-celiac-disease/screening-and-diagnosis/screening/ Anemia and Diabetes can cause false negatives, so can having Dermatitis Herpetiformis. I'm a big fan of genetic testing.
  4. Vitamin D by itself does not prevent fractures, but when taken with Calcium supplements, Vitamin D and Calcium have been shown to prevent fractures. "Ca/D reduces the risk of hip and any fracture in analyses combining institutionalized and community-dwelling individuals." Vitamin D Supplementation and Fractures in Adults: A Systematic Umbrella Review...
  5. Did you have any other antibody tests done like the DPG?
  6. Yes. We need stomach acid (and bile from the gallbladder) to break fats apart.
  7. Were you eating gluten regularly before the test?
  8. Niacinamide is NOT the synthetic form of Niacin. "...not niacin in form of niacinamide (mide's are synthetic or modified forms of vitamins and that's now what you want)." There's different forms of Niacin that do different things. Niacin as nicotinic acid will cause flushing. BUT Niacinamide does not cause flushing. Our bodies can turn Niacin...
  9. High dose Thiamine is not a mainstream practice yet.
  10. Katkits60, This AIP diet is like a vacation for your digestive system. Yes, the AIP diet is very different from how we're used to eating, but it is very worthwhile. If you sprained your ankle or hurt your arm, you wouldn't go out and jog or lift weights. No, you would go easy, get some rest, take time off your regular scheduled activities....
  11. Have you tried the Autoimmune Protocol diet? It was developed by a doctor with Celiac for herself and her children, Dr. Sarah Ballantyne. https://www.thepaleomom.com/start-here/the-autoimmune-protocol/ Following the AIP diet, my inflammation levels decreased and I felt much improved. This article might be of interest to you. This study found...
  12. And one more about a person who drank glyphosate and his medical support included Thiamine. Glyphosate Poisoning with Acute Pulmonary Edema https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4413421/
  13. And this one... Glyphosate, pathways to modern diseases II: Celiac sprue and gluten intolerance https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3945755/
  14. @nimzabo, Thought you would be interested in articles on EMF and Thiamine... https://www.objectivenutrients.com/insights/thiamine-emf-sensitivity/ And... https://www.hormonesmatter.com/emf-hypersensitivity-and-thiamine/
  15. @Blue-Sky, Please read this article on thiamine... https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8533683/ I read your links. Then we can discuss why high dose Thiamine is beneficial. Thanks
  16. @Rogol72, Pantothetic acid works with Thiamine B1. Google "adrenal glands and thiamine". Thiamine is needed to down regulate the adrenal response.
  17. Gut pain is associated with thiamine deficiency. Fighting an infection like Covid can decrease your thiamine level to the point of deficiency. Be well: A potential role for vitamin B in COVID-19 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7428453/#sec0045title The World Health Organization recommends giving thiamine hydrochloride 500 mg...
  18. I can't tolerate "smoked" stuff. Apparently smoke flavorings have lots of Sulfites and I have a Hypersensitivity Type Four to Sulfites. I cannot tolerate any sulfite containing drugs. (And there's lots of them.) Some Celiacs react to the protein avenin in oats the same way as to gluten.
  19. @Ginger38, I was ill for a long time, too. Doctors don't recognize Celiac Disease very well. They are stuck on seeing the damage in the small intestine to confirm active Celiac Disease. Unfortunately, not all the reasons are known why, but the damage varies, so some people are not diagnosed. I disagree with having to do a gluten challenge....
  20. @Katerific, Yes, inflammation from Celiac will cause elevated leukocytes in the stool. The smoked seasoning and the luncheon meat probably contain a food additive called "meat glue" or microbial transglutaminase. Microbial transglutaminase is produced from microbes in a lab. Meat glue is used as a flavor and texture enhancer. Meat glue...
  21. Sounds like that test may only be looking for the two most common Celiac genes. @ravenwoodglasshas an interesting set of Celiac genes. If you have the genes for Celiac and have health improvements on the gluten free diet, you can assume you have Celiac Disease. Simply having the genes doesn't mean the genes have been activated. A triggering...
  22. Sea salt has iodine in it naturally.
  23. @MrsTurner, It's not all in your head! When doctors don't know they blame the patient. You know your body better than anyone. Do keep looking for answers! There's many reasons why some people don't test positive on blood tests like the iga ttg. Ask for a genetic test. Celiac Disease is genetic, your genes won't change if you're gluten free...
  24. Vitamin D does its best work when it gets around 80 nmol/l, at which level Vitamin D acts like a hormone and can regulate the immune system. I started feeling much better when I got my Vitamin D level up. I was extremely deficient in Vitamin D and other vitamins and minerals as well. It's very difficult to correct a deficiency by diet alone. Extended...
  25. Yes, but it's not like vitiligo. Facial skin is finer and naturally won't get as dark as arms or legs. Another possibility would be low blood pressure as in POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) but she's not mentioned those symptoms. It's a mystery!
