  1. Does charcoal have gluten in it? I've had my supper cooked on the charcoal grill every night for the last 2 weeks and have had no reaction what so ever. We use Kingsford MatchLight. Anyone know?
  2. Mine are now normal for the first time in my life. Went from extremely heavy to normal Went from 13 to 5 days Went from very painful to very bareable.
  3. I wrap my fajitas in lettuce leaves...either green leaf or boston lettuce. It's a lot lighter and healthier. It's a good lunch the next day too. Just heat up your leftover filling and enjoy it again in fresh lettuce leaves.
  4. I have no idea. I've never ordered or seen them. We're bringing my little nephew there tonight for his bday present. I usually get the salad bar but mozza sticks would be great!! I guess I'll ask them tonight.
  5. I went on Chuck-E-Cheese's website and they list everything that contains gluten. The list does not include the Mozza sticks. Does anyone know if they are gluten free? I don't know how they could be, they are breaded aren't they?
  6. Hi Elonwy, I found them today. They had 3 flavors (Ocean mix, sesame mix, and chili).They were pretty cheap actually....$1.50 each. I bought 10 bags...let me know if you want some. I can ship them as early as monday. France

  8. I love sesame crisps topped with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and a sliver of red onion Oh, and a nice glass of red wine. Man, I can't wait to get home now. Here's what my husband is making for supper incase anybody needs ideas: Marinated grilled flank steak sliced, red and yellow peppers, red onion...spoon into lettuce leaves, top with salsa...
  9. Hahaha...seems to be a very popular drink. My heart doesn't like it though. Skips a beat here and there...not good!
  10. I've tried it. Personally I think it's pretty gross tasting. It gave me really bad heart burn. It didn't feel more energized then normal (Thank God cause I'm naturally hyper!!) I have heart palputations so it makes it worse.
  11. You should check out the Dieppe (NB) farmer's market on Saturday mornings. They serve a gluten-free breakfast and they also sell a bunch of gluten-free stuff like: Lasagna, pizza, bread, pies....
  12. I went to my local Shaw's supermarket as listed on the retail stores, and they don't cary it. I will go to the Christmas tree shop near where I work and pick up as many as I can. I will let you know...I could ship some to you.
  13. The Sesame Mix is the one that said gluten free...not sure about the other ones...will check tonight when i go to the store.

  17. I would go for an omelette cooked in a clean pan. That and maybe pan fried potatoes (also in a clean pan), and fruit should fill you up.
  18. I need advice, I was diagnosed gluten intolorent and possible Celiac by my family doctor. I just found out that there is a Celiac center less than an hour from here. Should I go? I've been gluten free since last July and I feel great. Would a diagnosis change anything?

  20. I've been gluten free for a little less than a year. I feel great. No more going to the bathroom every 5 minutes. I can actually go do my grocery shopping now...before....i would just walk in the place and immediatly have to go. No more bloating. I have occasional gas but who doesn't
  21. Shaw's and Hannafords...they have a huge gluten free section now and they have really good prices. I bought a box of Pamela's dark chocolate cookies for $1.75 yesterday.
  22. I wish I could do pilates. My mother and I have never laughed so hard in our lives. I decided I would try to do it watching my mothers pilates tape. Well, I have a fixed scoliosis. I have no movement from my neck down to my hips cause I have pins holding me up straight. It was quite funny!!

  24. Want some of my blood cells? I go to bed at 10, probably asleep by 10:05......wake up at 6am. I've never slept better in my life since being gluten free.
