    I guess it could be the sugar. I am a sugar fantatic unfortunatly. I only had one mini pumpkin pie one night and a half of a garlic breadstick yesterday. There was almost a week between the two. I dont know what happened. I am feeling fine today.. wooohooo in time for turkey day!

    I use regular Ortega vegetarian refried beans. I prefer the vegetarian due to the fact that lard is usually the ingredient in the others.. and I just cant stand the idea of eating lard. If I dont know its there.. I guess its ok.. its totally mind over matter for me. LOL. I have never had any problems with Ortega

    I havent tried Nanas yet. My newest gluten free store in the area carries them. I will have to pick one up. I do, however, agree about Pamelas. I just dont like any of her cookies so far.

    I had them last year with no problems at all. They were great on gluten free crackers that I didnt normally like with a piece of cheese. I, of course, would check the label again this year, I havent seen them yet. I hope we can all enjoy them this year.

    I had the same results as jersey.. no after effects at all. I didnt have a sore throat or anything. It was just a nice 15 minute nap.. recovery time was like 10 minutes.. they make you wait a bit just in case.. you just have to have someone to drive you home. They dont like you driving after. That is it.. no biggie at all

    This question was posted on a thread a while back.. if i remember correctly the answer is no wheat involved. I am sure someone will chime in with that answer for sure. I have never had a problem with any fruit with stickers on them.

    Is there such a test that will test to see if you carry the celiac gene?? not to tell me if Colin has celiac, but if he carries the gene for it. I am having such a tough time with this. We have no proof that Colin is a celiac, but I have kept him gluten free just in case. Like I previously mentioned, I dont know if I can put him on a gluten challenge...

    Ok.. I finally convinced Colins doctor to have him checked for celiacs. I just want to know if he carries the gene for it at this point. Colin has been gluten free since birth and he is now 18 months. I just really dont like the idea of giving him gluten for a long time so he can be tested.     We went there last night for a huge gluten free banquet. It was amazing.. soo much gluten free food. They say that this restaurant, even if you go alone, can accomodate a gluten free meal. They understand all about cc and everything. No one there got sick. We had paella, chicken marsala, a pork roast, spanish rice, steamed veggies.. and the desserts...
