I myself have never had a problem with Modified food starch, unless it says (wheat) on it. Maltodextrin has never bothered me either. I have a fear of dextrin for some reason. So, I just stay away from it, I find most products that I use dont have that in it anyway. As was previously said, distilled vinegar is fine. Most vinegars are distilled. No malt...

TinkerbellSwt posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
ok, has anyone tried their gravy mixes? I have had their pesto, using it as an easy way out of making fresh. Not too bad for not fresh. My signifigant other just found their website for me and is so very proud of himself, he wants me to order like everything. I need to know though, how bad is the gravy? that Roads end or whatever it is tastes worse than... -
ARCHIVED How Soon Can You Tell?
TinkerbellSwt replied to skipper30's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Mine can take as little as a half an hour. No matter how much the gluten, I get my "tell tale" stomache grumbles. Bloated and gassy, then yup, the good ol D. That I am lucky I think, that usually only lasts a bit, it seems until the poison has left me. Some days it might last a bit longer than what I would normally think it should to leave my body, but... -
I have to agree with the others sorry dad, cant do it. Your health and well being is much more important. I know if I took a bite and got that crumb, I would have paid a hefty price. I dont want to be sick for a mere cracker crumb. I understand, hard to tell them no, but we have too.

ARCHIVED Baby Gear - What Do You Need & What Is A Waste?
TinkerbellSwt replied to a topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
I hated my diaper genie, if you miss one day on changing it, the smell is outrageous. I threw that thing out right away. The wipe warmer, nah, not necessary, not for me anyway.. seemed like a waste of time, the only time a wipe temp really matters is in the middle of the nite, when a cold wipe can wake baby more.. I loved our mobile from Sassy. It was... -

ARCHIVED The Demon Constipation
TinkerbellSwt replied to TinkerbellSwt's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
We have been trying so many things now.. we cant afford to go out and buy some of these things. We have been adding prune juice to all his juice, not his milk though, that is gross. We dont give him much dairy at all, just his milk and occasionally cheese. We called his doctor today and they said add mineral oil, just a tablespoon a day until he gets... -
Nascar fan here! My favorite is of course Jimmie Johnson. He is such a cutie too! I am actually liking Denny Hamlin this year too.. I loathe Tony Stewart, Dale Jr. and Jeff Gordon! I cant wait for the new season to start, we have never been to a race though. Some are close, like Lowes but they are next to impossible to get tickets for!

I dont want to do that.. even in another...

TinkerbellSwt replied to Lisa's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Can I join you Lisa??? Mine was a pearl and diamond necklace from my fiance. It was such a small thoughtful gift, as we dont have much money, and what we do have goes to Colin. Other than that, my favorite present was Colins reaction to his presents. He got a ball pit. He absolutely loves it. The grin is from ear to ear.. that is the best part... -
