    Just a quick FYI for all fellow celiacs who might want to take advantage. I am sure our Jewish friends already know this, but the supermarkets, at least around me, are setting up their Passover sections, many many many foods are gluten free!! I think this is the time that someone ??? said that Manchiewitz (i have no idea how to spell that one) egg noodles...

    I am now speaking for my 21 month old son, ninis chicken and carriefaiths breadsticks!!!! and he is rather liking the fried chicken from ooppsy I forgot whos new recipe was posted like KFC, but he is eating carries breadsticks for breakfast now! Thanks carrie!! anything that gets him to eat is a plus with me, and they stay so nice for the next day...

    I agree with gfp, this is such a controversial subject, everyone needs to read up on it alone, I like that nickel for everytime this was brought up, so there is a plethora of information on this site alone on the subject. make your own decision...

    I made Carriefaiths recipe for breadsticks, however we used the dairy variety. They were great! I kind of burned the bottoms a bit, I was using a new baking pan. So I cut off the bottoms and tah dah! garlic breadsticks.. couldnt stop eating them.. soooo good. will be making these again.. thanks!

    We loved it here! The fried chicken was the best! So crunchy! I couldnt believe it! Colin ate it up, he ate two whole tender pieces! Not to mention about 3 of Carriefaiths bread sticks... what a nice dinner we had.. a Valentine treat!

    I made the bread, it came out great.. except for the fact that I stupidly forgot to spray the pan.. so most of the crust stuck.. but its still good.. i ate a few hot pieces with butter melting into it.. ohhhhhhh.. now I will wait until it cools.. next time.. duh, spray the pan!

    I just need someones simple homemade gluten free flour mix for baking. I cannot find the one I usually use, it contains 4 things, like white rice flour, tapioca, potato starch and something else.. I cant find what... I found Bette H. and hers was only a three mix, the three I just mentioned.. any help?

I however, dont have garfava flour, sooo I saw that some people used the 1 cup brown rice flour and 1/2 cup sorghum flour, and you used this with the regular 1 1/4 cups of gluten free flour?     I am on the Jersey Shore and some said 3-6 inches, others say up to a foot... as of last nite, most all of the models had different stories.. at least for this area... I am always on the border line for the snow..

    I went to a restaurant tonite that is not necessarily celiac friendly, its a small owned place, not a chain or anything.. the chef came out as i requested, told him the deal, he said he would pan sear a filet mignon and steam a lobster tail for me, no seasonings, steam some veggies, no seasonings and a baked potato, seems all fine right? well stupid me...

    I finally got an appt with the GI dept at CHOP for Colin.. I have to wait until June! That is the first available for the doc that deals with celiac. At least I have the appt. He will just remain gluten free, heck, even if the gene isnt there, he will be basically gluten free, my home is gluten free either way, Gary doesnt have it, but he eats gluten...

    I am also a loner in the celiac world in my family. I am sure there are others, my father and brother both have stomach issues, they got the blood test and swear that is enough to prove they dont have it.. anyone else, just wont get tested. oh well, its their lives and their bodies that they may be doing damage to.     I found for the first time in a LONG while.. gluten free microwaveable foods.. I am sure some of you have already tasted them.. Glutino makes easy premade food.
