I do believe that those are gluten free. Others will update you if they truly are. That is just not my area of knowledge. We just got back from Disney. Let me tell you. They are the most accomodating place on earth I think for celiacs. At every place in every park, you are basically able to get gluten free food. Either pizzas or hamburgers and...

ARCHIVED How Do You Clean The Grill To Avoid Cc?
TinkerbellSwt replied to azmom3's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
Good question about the scrapes on the grill. I honestly dont have an answer. My mother cleaned the grates, scrubbed them after burning the heck out of them. Then used Easy Off grill cleaner and I still got sick. This was on a gas grill. I have no idea how it happened. No rolls were used.. no sauces of any type.. from then on I just didnt cook my... -

Hormel Natural Lunch meats that are sold in the regular grocery store in the dairy sections usually are gluten free, always double check.. these do say gluten free on the back. Oscar Mayer beef bologna is gluten free also. There are a lot of foods out there that are just naturally gluten free.. you will have to become an avid label reader, it takes time... -

Thanks for all the suggestions.. I am ready to try some today.. and yes jersey;.. I would love it if you posted your receipe. Using the potato starch made the dough taste exactly like the old stuff used to taste. I almost started to cry when I tasted the raw dough. It was just like old times! -

ARCHIVED Eating At Restaurants With Gluten Free Menus
TinkerbellSwt replied to a topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
Hi there! I always talk to my waiter/waitress and then the manager. I have found that if you include the manager you have a much better chance for success. In my experiences, the manager goes out of their way to make sure your meal is perfectly prepared. The few times I didnt speak to the manager, I did get sick. Not every time, but a few. Enjoy... -

I am so sorry you got sick. I have always had a great reaction from Chilis. I have never gotten sick. I always get the manager involved. It seems to be that at Chilis if you involve the manager, it seems to work out. I am sorry you had a bad experience. I know it only takes one bad experience for me to stay away too. I hope you feel better soon...

When my b/f goes to Mickey D's, I have him pick me up a shake, I have different flavors depending on my mood. I have never had a problem with the shakes. I personally wouldnt have anything else there, as I used to work there when I was young... and I have seen what goes on. Its too easy for cc. But enjoy the shakes!!!
