  1. This sounds great. Might have to try it soon. I have coconut left over from ambrosia I made for Labor Day. YUM
  2. I have been reading about the different bread makers on here too. Believe it or not I had no idea what mine was. I used mine to make the Gluten Free Pantrys Sandwich Bread and it comes out fantastic. But my bread maker is an Oster, and I love it. I dont know how it rates compared to the others. I dont think my mom spent too much on it, as she bought...
  3. Judy- I am so sorry to hear that you havent been feeling well. I hope you feel better soon. The weather is getting better, not too hot, not too cold. I have never worn a pair of Converse high tops. I did wear Vans though. Ironically they had poka dots on them, colored red, blue and yellow, the colors of a Wonder bread package. Boy were they UGLY...
  4. Wow.. i have learned a lot from this thread. I have always been wondering about the subject of bleu cheese. I love the stuff and was always afraid to try it. If I understood correctly, some bleu actually says wheat on it? The ones that dont should be safe? I might not be understanding this. Please someone simplify it for me? I get all kinds of...
  5. I am sorry I dont have any advice in this circumstance. I would look the links up that raven gave you. I just wanted to say have a fun and safe trip !
  6. The same thing happened to me. My mom tries so hard not to gluten me. We made sure everything that was made was gluten free. I did, however, have a burger that was grilled. We only have a gas grill. I was glutened and glutened bad. Ever since then I have been going there and cooking my burgers in a pan on the stove. No more getting sick. Even...
  7. Nope I am not moving. Not again this year. I never stay planted anywhere for longer than a year.. except this year. I was really surprised about Steve Irwins death. I always thought he was a great person to be able to deal with those animals as he does. I feel for his family. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Our weather turned...
  8. We eat Jello pudding all the time with no problems. The powder one and the one in the dairy section that is premade
  9. Just another quick drive by here. I hope everyone is well. I hope that anyone that had to deal with Ernesto is safe and dry. We got lucky here, had some rain but mostly just strong winds. Take care everyone... have a great holiday weekend!
  10. Hi all.. havent been around much. sooo busy. Chelsea, I dont know what is going on there with what you said, sounds like a bunch of idiots though if you ask me. Sorry you are putting up with idiocy. Nikki- that is a great pic. My Uggs are still in the closet. I was going to try and wear them today, as its chilly and we are waiting for the...
  11. My mom just got a pair of the Crocs from my dad. He bought them b/c they are all the rage. They are ugly as sin! I did, however, try hers on and wow, are they comfortable! I might get a pair for Disney in a few weeks.. so I dont have to wear sneakers the whole time
  12. I get them at Whole Foods in Middletown, NJ.
  13. Great Judy let me know! I would love to meet up!
  14. Thanks, I froze it. I will try taking some out today for lunch and see how it comes out.
  15. Since I finally have my bread baked by me... how do I keep it fresh? Should I freeze it? Or just store it on the counter?
  16. I have to say I thought I hated Gluten Free Pantry's Favorite Sandwich Bread Mix. I made it in the beginning of my gluten free journey. I was still so used to regular bread. I just bought it the other day to try again as my son has taken a major liking to grilled cheese. Its one of the only things he will eat! I baked it in my bread machine today....
  17. Seems simple enough! going to try it tomorrow nite... thanks for it!
  18. I am not currently following WW, even though without a doubt I should be doing something. I can tell you that my mother was for a while and she had a WW cookbook that she got at a meeting. It was for both plans. She gave it to me. And I can tell you from experience that most receipes in it are gluten free. There are a few that are not, but more are!...
  19. Brag away! It is something to be very proud of!!!!
  20. wow Racheal that experience sounds great. I have never seen any type of animal (except a hamster that was named Bert) give birth. It must have been an awesome experience!
  21. I dont go to salad bars at all anymore. ummm.. except I must admit.. sometimes Whole Foods. Our Whole Foods seems to be meticulous about cc. I have never had a problem there. I have only done it 3 times since my diagnosis. And I am probably just lucky. There is no where else I would even attempt it.
  22. Thanks for the heads up. I dont live in the areas of any of those places. But I am without a doubt passing this info on to family and friends in the area. As everyone said before me, I am sure Robert didnt mean for you to get the email. Someone in management better teach him real quick about manners, hospitality (good for you for taking courses in that...
  23. The menu I saw was the same thing except their bbq baby back ribs were on it. I got those and had no problems at all.
  24. Ok.. we are back from our doctors appt in PA. The neurologist and the nurse practioner basically said the neurologist we saw at Jersey Shore Medical Center was nuts. Everything with him is fine. They think he is a remarkable baby given the circumstances that he was born. They cannot believe his size and how healthy he looks for being a 28 1/2 week baby...
  25. Thanks Judy! We will be out your way! So I will open my car window and yell hi!!! hehehe.. thanks for the positive thoughts everyone!
