  1. LOL---I love John but I hate when football is on...He gets loud and acts dumb, boys will be boys I guess!
  2. At our house we say pop instead of soda...He can take that back and he did start to root for the NY Giants with John so he may have picked up rthe habit of yelling at the TV!
  3. I second the art store recomendation. They have lots of great baking things.

  5. Nope, not snow here....38 degrees and rainy....I see it is going to rain all week! Blah Blah Blah!
  6. So everyone, where is the Yeti going next?
  7. I lost a lot before finding out about celiac and in the beginning when eating was a challenge I may have lost a little more or kept the same weight...I forget now. I have gained it all back, I found some foods that I really like now and I have gained it all back....and then some
  8. Boy is your cake making me hungry...how much did it cost?
  9. I am not much a beer fan either, I like sweet drinks. Having another beer to choose from is great news, it means people are starting to find our audience. That is never a bad thing
  10. I had Pamela's in the beginning and I really did not like it at all. A lot of members use and really like it, but when I used it....4 years ago, maybe it was different.
  11. Welcome to the board! It is very overwhelming at first but soon things start to get easier, it will be like second nature.
  12. Poor Yeti, he is probably not used to having a bit of chrome dome You know Tom, every weather forecast I have checked says cloudy this upcoming weekend. I am hoping it stays that way.
  13. You teach your kids to share everything....but germs are not welcome
  14. I have never asked that question. I only buy the things I have to special, pastas and some breads and extra things. The rest of the food I buy is naturally gluten free. I splurge on some things, like Bell and Evan chicken nuggets or french toast sticks but I try not to buy a lot of expensive items.
  15. Thank You!
  16. Wow Deb-I think that would have freaked me out too! I love how you titled it not Whole Foods, Not Wegmas but upper class That's funny!
  17. I am keeping Gus in my thoughts today But dreary day here too! I understand
  18. Maltodextrin is gluten free if made in North America. You need to be very careful. CC is a big thing for celiacs. Crumbs from breads and crackers can make some members here very sick for days. As for the processed in a factory with wheat, that falls back to personal choice. Some of us do, some of us don't.
  19. Great Value and Wegmans. we use those both pretty often in our home. Like the above poster, we use the store brand to save money too
  20. Oh paula, I am so sorry to hear this. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
  21. Wow thats great news. I never had problems sleeping before going gluten free, I do have trouble now though falling asleep sometimes, I think it is work related though. It seems to only happen during the week.
  22. OMG Sillies, today we are trimming the Christmas tree. My cat has already tried to climb it....which he did not attempt last year. It's been fun. I am putting on the ornaments, John is watching the Giants/Eagles game...rooting for his Giants. The weather outside is dreary!!!! Just got off the phone, may not be able to have mom down next weekend. she...
