    I love those donuts too! Just so pricey, they are $8 at the gluten free store. I am pretty easy to please as well, some fruit salad, brownies, and a gift card to Wegmans and I am set.

    Hi Elizabeth I have to say my MIL is also very helpful too, and it makes this so much easier. It sounds like yours is very caring and always willing to help. I am happy for you. My MIL makes sure when we are having a dinner/picnic at her home that she has gluten free pasta salads and such. It makes the whole outing so much more comfortable.

    Alot of members on this board even come up negative on tests for celiac but had great response when maintaining the diet. If you cannot afford the medical tests you can always try the diet, there is nothing to lose there. If you start feeling better on the diet I would take that as your answer and stick with it.     I am scared about those things as well, even though I am not pregnant yet. I know people always say even when the baby comes you will know what to do. I get so worried I will do something wrong.

    Lister, sorry to hear about the bugs...I am not fond of bugs either except ladybugs since they are harmless. They are cute too. Currently my apartment balcony has been taken over by spiders and webs. I have to go and raid them tonight. I love summer but the bugs are a downside.
