  1. Paula It is nice to hear I was not the only one jumping up and down when she was voted off. Thank goodness my neighbor below works 3rd shift.
  2. This is great. You have landed yourself a keeper!!!
  3. Hi tcat!! Welcome to the board. I miss working with young children. I used to be a daycare teacher years ago.
  4. aww they are cuties. Love the eyes.
  5. Now that everyone has seen the show or heard the results I am going to say it. I jumped up and down when they said Melinda was going home!!! I am just so happy. I could not bare to even watch her sing. She did have talent and I will not deny her that but she didn't have the AI package as another member put it. She did not carry herself well and she certainly...
  6. I text messaged Angie (Guhlia) the results too.
  7. Wow...all I have to say!!!!!!
  8. duplicate post, kitty stepped on my keyboard...Lucky's first post
  9. I am in PA, but even though we are on close location wise, we are always local on here. Most of my close friends on this board are in other states. No matter the distance, their information has always helped. Do you have any stores in your area to get gluten-free foods? is there a local support group? Welcome to our board!!!
  10. I second the Spencer gifts, they have lots of funny things.
  11. Am I missing something?
  12. I have too gained about 20 lbs since going gluten free, and I cannot get rid of it. I am going to the gym, I do not eat chips and snacks. I have the occasional cookie and ice cream. I feel so ugly these days because a few coworkers are losing their weight. It is bathing suit season. Some of my summer clothes I used to look great in I now look dumpy. I gained...
  13. I think both Jordin and Blake will appeal to a big range in their audiences, young and old alike. Melinda is more fit for the stage. PS-I thought it was annoying she had a street named after her too. I am in a rough mood today.
  14. I look at who will do what in the long run, Jordin and Blake will both make appealing pop stars, Melinda is not current in her music.
  15. The way Simon talked last night, I think Blake will go home tonight. I hope not though. I did not think it was right for him to say He wants Melinda in the final 2. How do you think Jordin and Blake felt upon hearing that.
  16. We are leaving on Saturday morning. We stay in Wildwood at a hotel we have always stayed at for years now. The weather still looks good for the weekend. I am hoping it stays that way. Nothing worse than a soggy beach. It usually takes us about 1 and 1/2 hrs to get to the Norristown exit of the turnpike, then we take the Walt Witman across into Jersey. So...
  17. You could do a Noah's Ark theme or Aquarium/Fish theme and those would match great with the blue. My favorite color is blue.
  18. I like the name Tori. Aww!
  19. Sandy, It sounds like you really have done a lot. It also sounds like both of your children have grown into well rounded children despite some medical obstacles they had to overcome. This is a great!
  20. I didn't realize Tori was her nickname or did I read your post wrong?
  21. I am unsure who I am rooting for at this point. I might have to go with Jordin at this point. She has always been one of my favorites.
  22. Happy Belated Birthday!!! Good job with the cake
  23. I am hoping we have nice warm weather while we are there. The temps keep getting warm than chilly. I guess in PA we should expect that. We are going to hit Cape May when we get there in the late morning-and stay until 2:30. Check-in at our hotel is 3. My best friend is a great photographer and she is going to take a nice picture of John and I on the beach...
  24. Good to hear the baking went well. I am also starting to get into the cooking and baking a bit more. Being gluten free is opening a whole new world of food up to me, and I finally got over the ugh! bump and now it is fun and experimenting. Hope you have more great results.
  25. Walter, Sorry to hear you have been under the weather. "D" is never fun. I know I have had some close calls too, some too close for comfort. Hope you are feeling better.
