  1. I am not sure if you wanted to know about unedible things too. Maybe a few new cookie sheets and spatulas and such. Might as well start over clean. Gluten Free Pantry mixes are great! If she sees any of the Fudge brownie ones....mmm! Good Luck Baking! I am just starting to get into it and it is alot of fun.

  5. I can fit into this category, I was healthy all my life, in college I was exposed to menegitits and I got real ill, it seems things went downhill from there. I was officially diagnosed in August of 2004. Between 2001-2004 I was a mess, and I kept the Immodium company in business
  6. I had to work overtime and didn't catch it. I cannot believe I missed Bon Jovi night....I love Bon Jovi. Is he going to perform tonight? I'll be in heaven!!!!!!
  7. I know for me, I did get my energy back after being on the diet for a bit. I had been spending almost all the time I was not working on the couch or in bed. I really was worried that at 21 years old my life was in ruins. Thankfully things got much better. I would give the diet and your body a chance to heal a bit, this time varies person to person. Good Luck...
  8. If you have Gertrude Hawk stores near you, they have very good candy.
  9. I also love the Gluten Free Pantry muffin mix, I make fruit muffins with it. I even passed it off at work and they loved it. I must mention, that the mix says you can you fruit juice, well I used fruit punch. Mmmm!!! I was impressed.
  10. This is very good info to know, thanks for posting.
  11. That's horrible! Knowing about celiac 6 years ago could have prevented him from suffering the past few years. What were they looking for 6 years ago? Was it a routine colonoscopy or to see why he was feeling sick?
  12. Wow, that's scary. I hope you are feeling better.
  13. Actually, both my sisters were adopted, my parents did still do foster children. My sisters were some of the first children we had in our home. Carrie is going to be 21 in Sept and Tammy the new Mom will be 20 in June. We look like biological sisters so a lot of people would never guess we were not related.
  14. I had my chocolate fix this past weekend, I went to Gertrude Hawk. We buy the Wegmans pasta sauce a lot, and boy is it good, and the price is great. I am going to stop there again this weekend. We are heading up there because my sister had her baby last night. Do you ever go to the Gluten Free Source in Dillsburg? I haven't been there in a few weeks,...
  15. I am from Forest City, very tiny town. I stopped at the Minoka Pastry shop on thursday and I bought the new Oatmeal Rasin cookies. They were room temp on the shelf. Very good. There were not soft but they tasted nice. I also picked up a box of the butterfly cookies, those are my favorite next to the Snickerdoodles. I always nuke them in the microwave for...
  16. It is strange you say this, I am orginally from the Scranton area, well a little more north of Scranton in Susquehanna county. My family all lives there yet, I go to visit them often, I was in the Dickson City Wegmans this past weekend. I cannot go anywhere without stopping at that store.
  17. Isn't it great. I wish more people did that. Wegmans does it on their store brand of products, they are moving into our area in Sept.
  18. She is 18 inches, and is healthy. I cannot wait for my own actually. We are getting married in October and are going to start trying soon after that. John had chemo a few years ago and was told his chances may not be as good. So we keep our fingers crossed. We are going to put our name on some adoption lists as well once we are married.
  19. Thanks Everyone! She is so small. She stays right in the room with Tammy. I talked to Tammy last night and she was rocking her baby. Aww!
  20. Wow! You are right, never leave home without it.
  21. Here are the pictures Open Original Shared Link She is 6lbs 6 ounces, so tiny but healthy.
  22. This is so exciting!!! We are making another trip home this weekend to see the new baby. Now I am waiting on my sister Carrie to email me the pictures she took. I talked to Tammy, the new mom, and she is feeling better. She is waiting to see her baby, she really doesn't remember clearly the delivery because she was drugged. I believe this might be the first...
  23. My sister gave birth tonight to a baby girl, Silvia. She was breech so my sister had to have a C-section. This is the first baby between my sisters and I. I wish I could have been there, she lives 2 hrs away. I will post pics as soon as they put them in the I-Nursery.
  24. Judy- I forgot to tell you, Have a great time at the shore. Are you going to go to the lighthouse at all? That is my favorite place in Cape May. My fiance and I are heading down to the shore and taking his younger brother and my best friend. The guys are going to do the boardwalk (we stay in Wildwood) and Erin and I are doing wedding shopping for me. I...
  25. I find that when I take my gluten free pantry triple fudge brownies to work, the plate empties very quickly. No one even knows they are gluten free either. I saw my other coworker bring regular old brownies to a party a few weeks back and no one really touched them. She was left with over 1/2 the tray at the end of the day.
