  1. Sounds MOOvaleous.
  2. Just spent a few (haha) minutes reading this. I love this site and all the communication. I am so glad I found this place and Rachelville seems like an awesome place.
  3. I haven't had any problems but we are all different. FYI, MM lemonade has listed as an ingredient ester of wood rosin. I don't know what this means I found it strange.
  4. I like the fruity ones. I want to try the choc. ones but it takes awhile to eat a whole box of cereal.
  5. That's the first thing I thought too.
  6. As far as gluten in concerned I have never had a problem with them, I eat alot of them. But, I have got sick before because the mushrooms were bad, so it may be that. Hope you get to feeling better. The Z pack always effects me so I do not use them anymore.
  7. Thanks for all the input. I talked with her for a while today before she left to go to the hospital to be with him. I tried to be supportive with her but it is hard at times. Her husband and her are not living together and she was complaining to everyone(customers) who came in today about not having time tonight to take their daughter to dance because...
  8. A friend's husband has to have a endoscopy and colonoscopy tomorrow, She works for me and has asked off for tomorrow which is fine. But when she called to tell me she said she needed off tomorrow it was because he had to have major surgery and it was extremely serious. My first thougt was OMG. She said that she was going to call the family in and I asked...
  9. Hope so too. Thanks for doing it for us.
  10. I posted last week about thinking of ways to have a birthday dinner that I could enjoy but stay gluten-free. I thought I would like to have a Sunday sundae supper. It was wonderful. Everyone was like a kid picking out their toppings--all were gluten-free, and no-one noticed the things that weren't there. We laughed and had a great time. I worried about...
  11. I agree. I want fajitas with white flour tortillas. I won't but it is so tempting.
  12. I was(am some) overweight when I finally was dx. Since Sept. I have lost over 35 pounds. I stayed pretty stable from Jan.-July but started losing again, without trying.
  13. You are in my thoughts and prayers. It is a scary experience when you have a child with a high temp. When my youngest was 4 months old I took her to the ER with a 104.9 temp. and the doctor there told me that the only thing wrong with her was she had an overprotective mom and to take her home and let her cry it out. The next morning I took her back with...
  14. I am a frapp-a-holic. I have one of the coffee ones everyday. The place I buy it from say they buy a case a month just for me. As a business owner I like to support other businesses in our town even though I could buy them myself.
  15. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I was really excited but I want it to be accurate.
  16. I order pizza crusts from Ener G. They come in packs of three. I really like them.
  17. Yeah on the enchilada sauce. I didn't know that
  18. I was at a dinner today and the lady who sat across from me was a lady from the county health office. She was there to perform cholesterol tests for the business owners for $10 per person. She asked if I wanted one and I told her I knew mine because I had to have blood drawn alot to test my hemoglobin among other tests. I made the comment that I hated...
  19. I grew up in Texas and New Mexico and we had flour tortillas all the time. I am getting used to using corn tortillas but I really, really miss flour tortillas. We used to bake one with cinnamon/sugar/butter topped with choc. chips.
  20. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, I am going to try several of your ideas. This is going to be my first gluten-free birthday and they really want it to be special.
  21. When I was at the hospital in April for my iron infusion the meal they brought me consisted of an all-beef pattie, boiled carrots, and a plain baked potato. It was all very plain but it didn't make me ill. They really tried to work with me.
  22. My family is really struggling with how to have a birthday party for me this year without having a cake. I told them I thought an ice cream sundae supper would work. Just buy ice cream and the goodies and let everyone make their own. Keeping the items in seperate dishes. Do you think this would work?????

    ARCHIVED Arbys!

The Arby's near us will if you ask put your roast beef, chicken, etc. in a clear container and use clean tongs. I have only eaten there once and did not get sick. My celiac/crohn's freind eats there all the time and he doesn't have any problems.
