  1. Not really any other symptoms. I am not very hungry and kinda mopey but nothing else.
  2. Thanks for the thoughts and ideas
  3. Since yesterday I just do not feel well. I really don't think I've been glutened because I've fixed my own meals. I ache everywhere, am very fatigued, and have a low temp. I can't pinpoint what is wrong. I feel dumb for not being able to say what is wrong. Anyone else ever just not feel well.
  4. There is a GREAT Outback in Blue Springs. The waitress I had has celiac too, and she was wonderful. She told me that she always ate there because they did such a good job with her food. It was delicious
  5. I love peanut butter and eat it everyday. I use Jif creamy, and have never reacted to it. Thank goodness because with everything I had to give up I don't think I could my peanut butter
  6. My iron levels will drop suddenly also. I have had three iron infusions and one blood transfusion- ( hemoglobin was at 6 and by the time I got to the hospital it had dropped). I can not take supplements so I just have to plan on every 6 months to spend the day at the hospital and get an IV infusion. Wish I could do something different.
  7. I had to quit drinking pop(soda) out of a can, I couldn't stand the taste.
  8. I live in the U.S.
  9. It is so annoying that people think we can have just a bite, or taste, of something. I had someone tell me that the communion cracker wouldn't hurt me. It was hard enough not to eat it without someone making me feel guilty.
  10. I have a cough/cold for the first time since going gluten-free. I want to go to the drugstore to get something but need any suggestions for meds that are gluten-free. Thanks in advance for the help.

I love Spree, especially the chewy ones
  12. I eat Tostitos too, every day
  13. I went there a few weekends ago. I told the young girl behind the counter about what I couldn't have and she was wonderful So was the ice cream. A funny side, I went with three others and when I brought my bowl to the table it was double the size of theirs and they said they should have told them they had celiac. YUM
  14. This is really helpful topic since I too have severe iron deficent anemia. I have to get an iron infusion about every 6 months. I was told by the iron disorders institute not to drink iced tea because it can deplete the body of iron. Also, spinach, like mentioned, does not increase iron levels. Thanks for all the good suggestions.
  15. Before I found out I needed to be gluten-free we bought a new store and started moving our business, at the same time I gave up pop(soda) I started to drop weight and I thought how cool. At first it was just 5 pounds, then 10,etc. I was really happy until I got very sick. I ended up having scans, scopes, blood work and they found out I was celiac and possibly...
  16. Thanks for the info. My youngest daughter has a sulfa allergy and loves grapes. She is not celiac but I will tell her to be careful.
  17. I am an addict. I have to get on first thing when I get to work, (good thing I'm the boss, lol) and get on several times a day. I need this right now and appreciate the support I get here.
  18. I just had a thread about the same thing, looking for things to eat so I would eat something. There were some good ideas. I just don't get hungry but I know I have to eat so I don't keep losing weight and start feeling more active.
  19. I, too, often get so bloated I have to unsnap my jeans because they would put to much pressure. I usually just try to go to the bathroom or drink a soda to help me burp. I don't know what else to do. Maybe someone else has some better advice.
  20. What name brand is the rice
  21. The last few days I have not been very hungry. I don't know if it is stress or the heat or what. What is something light to eat when you don't feel like eating. I do take a vitamin every morning.

  23. CONGRATS!!! God bless and best wishes
  24. I also had it, painful periods, heavy flow, mood swings. After having a period that began the day BEFORE Thanksgiving one year and ending two days before VALENTINES day the next year, my doctor at the time said "There may be a problem, but I don't think it is anything to worry about, I changed doctors and within a few months had a hysterectomy. It was...
