    ARCHIVED Dizziness

In your picture you don't look like eating more often would be a problem for you. I found I needed to eat 5 or 6 times a day to keep down the diarrhea (had 'dumping syndrome' and to keep my tummy from hurting (it wanted food). i also went through a period of a few months where I was unsteady (almost dizzy) and a cane helped, especially if I wanted to walk...
  2. I am glad you have been gluten free that long, sounds like your 'fluttering' may be on the way out. did you ever have it in your feet or lucky enough to have it just that way? Many diseases hae a set way it progresses or decreases but this celiac disease seems to be no respecter of that method. seems like we are pretty much on our own for figuring things...
  3. Sounds like nueropathy... I had it for abut 2 months when I was @ my worst newly diagnosed with celiac disease. I was certainly glad when that was over. It probably depends on how fast your healing happens how long you have it, hope fully yours will be a short time. Diabetics are also prone to have neuropathy but it tends to stay with them. We have a neighbor...
  4. Acouple months ago I mentioned here that charcoal caps helped me with gas and etc belly problems, I did not say that using several (never more than 6 per day) can cause black stools but you have probably found that out. Glad you are getting some relief with the charcoal caps. I buy mine in a health food store, may be available elsewhere. Good luck with coping...

  13. Olalisa; I have the same problem, especially since I was diagnosed a few months ago and a few months before that. I don't know but I suspect being Celiac has a connection. That would make us draggy and tired, hopefully when we get our innards healed better we will get our BP up more normal. When nurses take mine they speak of my GREAT blood pressure about...

  15. rinne...you just have a 'way with words', just put them together so well!! Hope you are feeling better by now!! I have been enjoying the southern phrases by several people, so many of them are familiar to me. Spose that is because I am from Southrn Iowa??
