  1. I know what you mean about the touchy stomach, mine just seems to rebel after I eat (whatever I eat). May need to take extra enzymes or maybe new ones not working good, better do some trials...was doing better so this is disappointing. So glad you are up to painting bedroom and bath, how nice!! For those of you with pianos going to new homes..I feel...
  2. Did not realize you had changed your name here till now!! Thanks for the hint, I do have a a local resturant where I have talked to the chef, planned my food but in the town where we shop mostly 30 miles away there is a buffet where I can't do that. So I just take my own food, also I am still taking on new allergies (food) and still doing 4 day rotation...
  3. Could you eat protein just before going to bed?It is a food that stays with you longer, also calcium helps you sleep so maybe you will not wake till later. If you have gone gluten free recently that will make sleep come a bit harder and also you may be hypoglycemic and need to eat more often during waking hours too. Hope this helps you.. evie
  4. To IM people click on the IM at the bottom left of the persons message. That will take you to message area where you will type in your message to that poster. Good luck to you Kassie.. evie
  5. If you are talking about small red bumps that itch I had that about 3 months after going glutten free. I decided it was gluten related but maybe as a last ditch effort of my problems because when those went away have had very little of that problem since. But...I have had an ITCHY scalp for several years...I think it is starting to finally go away. Have had...
  6. [quote name='frustratedneicey' date='Aug 16 2006, 01:41 PM' Soo glad you came back!! I came on early April, 06 but do not remember such poster, may have been before that. sounds like a very unhappy person taking things out on you. I am hoping you still learned from the forum and are feeling much better now as I am too. It is so great to be able...
  7. You may have the good bacteria killed off in your intestines from the antobiotics. May need to take some acidophilus caps for a few months to get the good ones back. anyone who has a mold allergy needs to stay away from mushrooms or any other type of mold. that cam bring on the 'thrush or other versions of candida'. "Been there, done that" I am so glad I...
  8. Julie; Did you post on the "OMG, I might be ale to drink milk" thread this spring? I remember someone asking about seizures and celiac. Have you been diagnosed long with celiac and have you improved? I read the post about seizures but I think that pertained to children or at least partly. I hope you find your answer!! I have been having an unusually gassy...
  9. Chrissy; If you have the gift of gab to set that to words I am all for you sendig that connection to Oprah, I am not good at that. But getting both problems more publicity (open to the people) needs to happen. also I do not know how to send it but am sure someone will know how to do it, we have some VERY computer literate people here!! Go for it.. you...
  10. Such a nice cake for Tim's 3rd birthday!! thanks vincent for putting up the album, I did not check out quite all of them but MOST. Looks like you have a very happy, healthy boy!! God is good and I can tell he is in a very caring home!! We have 5 gr. grandchildren from age 8 to age 3, they are a joy but we do not get to see them often. They are scattered...
  11. Lister, so glad you could drop that Habit!! it is not unusual to have bad days yet, sometimes we just can't trace our problems back to a food or what did the CC. but if you are keeping a food journal you might be able to check out a possibility. when we are around people who can eat gluten we can get it unknowingly. I know that i probably will not be healed...

    ARCHIVED New Celiac

And it will...when I first went gluten free a few months ago I thought I might starve because I had a lot of tummy aches that felt like hunger pangs and I was trying to get by with only meat, veggies and fruit, then I added a few grains cooked for cereal. They were millet, amaranth, cornmeal and buckwheat, then I purchased some of those flours along with bean...
  14. Yes, after having a dry spring and early summer we have gooten nearly 2" rain over 3 days lately. that is wonderful for gardens, yards but especially for farm crops. We are in an area where farmers have corn, soybeans and hay crops. they were looking stressed for awhile from heat and lack of moisture. You cetainly look nice in your picture, I am hoping...
  15. Hey, can you fill me in on the 'google thing'? I thought I read all the posts but missed that one. Also do you know why some are concerned about having family names in their posts? Sure too bad about the UK incident but sooo glad it was stopped before it got started. I hear flying will be a bit differnet for awhile with being on orange alert here and red...
  16. It helped me, I started taking Ultimate Flora about 3 months ago, not sure how long will need to take it, will play that by ear. Sure glad you have few food allergies, that will make it easier for you!! Beast of luck in your jouney thru Celiac land and healing your innards. anytime you need answers just ask here and someone will try ot give you a good answer...
  17. Vincent; glad you got a 'good' report from your test. I forget how old you are..or did I ever know? No one is old enough to have heart problems!! From some of your posts sounds like you are celiac or are you on another kind of diet? Sounds like I do not always remmember what I read, right?? Since you are Rville computer tech, what is reason caps do not...
  18. I also think it makes a difference in where you are in your healing jouney. Such as how long since you went gluten free, I believe as you start to heal you can have even worse reactions to a bothersome food. Anyway seems to work that way with me. evie PS.. Have always been a slow reactor to foods or any kind of allergen so have no warning while eating.
  19. I have not seen it in (Health food stores) I have been in?? Graham flavor sounds good. Where do you shop? evie
  20. Say, I sure do like your line of thinking!! Now how are we going to get the rest of the people + the medical people to agree? When you think of the paleo diet (caveman days) that sounds like you have somethig there!! I have been reading about that enzyme being worked on too/ PEP 2 or ?? Maybe they will get that ready so we can use it, that would be great...
  21. such good news Tanya about little Megan. More than likely the pounds will not go on as fast when the pump is slowed down. she might get heavy for you to handle too. 'God is Good". evie
