Butter is always gluten-free, if it's just plain butter.... you would want a fresh stick, though, so you know nobody has double spreaded and contaminated it.

Sorry, everyone, this post will look a little weird. There were two posts made and I said DUPLICATE under one, but posted right before Deb did, so she hadn't seen the notice. Then someone else posted under Deb, etc. Meanwhile the other topic also developed. So I just merged them--hence, the two first posts say the same thing.

There are probably some good recipes there, nonetheless, I would say it isn't. Two or three months of this or you could have a hardcover gluten-free cookbook. Additionally, at the Delphi board, there's a person there, Mireille, who has her own restaurant and posts about fifteen recipes daily. If you asked for a recipe on ___, she would post back with one.

Oh, shoot, you're right. 11 years...

Wow, thanks for posting that, Bean, and Tiffany, I'll check pubmed after.

Umm...the Specific Carbohydrate Diet might work, but that's essentially the elimination of processed foods. That's probably the best thing you can do for your body.

Umm...does it specifically say cured? I know that it may help some celiacs to heal, etc, but it doesn't heal, of course.
I haven't personally read it, but a couple here probably have. Maybe contact Strack2004 --she seems to know a lot about it.

I agree, Michelle

Yes...maltodextrin is nearly always gluten-free, but when from wheat, has to be listed as wheat maltodextrin. And dextrin is always iffy...you need to call.
-
Yes, but then our words can be twisted, as Kaiti's were.
I do apologize to Magnus, though...destroying his first topic on the board. You're welcome to post a new one somewhere since this one has kind of...spun off topic.

Yep
. Karen, now you're at 24! I've dropped to 22, since it's posts in the last 24 hrs.
A few more and we'll be at 300 posts in 24 hrs.

Wow...thank you everyone fory our support. I didn't expect so many responses (or even any) to an off-hand comment

Oh darn...I used to know of some software (free) that can convert it...don't remember now. Sorry

You got it!

Thank you, everyone
Wow...I just looked at today's top 10 posters...296 posts made today compared to an average 100 or 150...and Kaiti 25, celiac3270 25, Canadian Karen 23, mmm...gluten 20, bean 14, medaka 12, nini 12, tarnalberry 10, etc. Look at how this stirred up the board...
And have you ever seen a topic with 63 replies in one day?!
-
Hmm...are you trying to do a gallery one or upload one?

all that stress is bad for your digestive system.
I know
P.S. Kaiti forwarded me the messages and there was no foul language in any of them. Exactly as Kaiti said.

Dextrin can be made of wheat, but also of corn. For example, in Starburst, the dextrin is derived from corn and is safe.

The funny part, to me anyway, is that you choose to ignore pieces of sentences and focus on what you need to make your point. You sound like a good Hillary Clinton style democrat. Now run along and look up the word seems and close to..
I ignored about 1/4 of the stuff that I didn't need to comment on. I have nothing to say about peanut butter and apples.
And that's pretty ironic that you say that. I hate Hillary Clinton and just because I come from NY doesn't mean I'm a democrat. Strong Bush-backer, in fact, but that's besides the point. I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have made that afterthought post.
My vocab. is okay, I don't need to look up either, but thank you for the suggestion. I'm 14, not 4.

You're trying to add a "personal photo". You have to do evit avatar. I think that's it.

Yay!
My sincere congratulations. That's such a great step!
