lol...same minute, too, so the posts were less than sixty seconds apart

There are two other lists, also, for foods and medications. These aren't always 100% accurate, though, so be careful

This is the best medication list for the US:

If you PM or post your e-mail address, I'll send you a 79 page word document of gluten-free products in the US. If you'd rather download it from the site itself, since I realize that in this day, you might not want to download a file sent from someone you don't know, follow these steps:
1) Go to the website, Open Original Shared Link
2) Click on "messages" or "start reading"
3) Select the folder "gluten-free Product List"
4) Click on the topic called "Downloadable files word"
5) Of the four options, choose the one in the upper right.
Whichever you'd prefer...
It's an amazing list, though.

Just PM me, e-mail me, or post your e-mail address here. I can't send attachments through PMs, through e-mails via celiac.com, etc.
Hearts, your's is sent.

Ha...I just saw under view new posts...how many of you cheat...this is something that could go under the "you're celiac if..." topic. LOL...nobody but a celiac would understand what I, a 14 yr. old, mean when I'm asking how many people cheat

If he was born a US citizen and is over 35 years, then he is eligible.
-
Yea...if you become a citizen, you could become governor, but not President.
-
Yes--I don't understand because, besides the fear of these other complications, I feel so much better without the gluten. After being sick so long, I could never cheat and therefore, I don't really understand it, either.

Off the board, [a member] said that [he or she] felt that most celiacs on these boards cheat on the gluten-free diet. I never have, never would, and question that you all do, as well....hence, the poll. Thanks!
Besides, I think it would be interesting to see how many diagnosed celiacs adhere to the diet....though this probably wouldn't be very accurate since I would expect that if someone was on a message board for this, he or she probably takes the diet more seriously than a celiac who is not.

About the bread, I'd recommend that you try the Ener-G tapioca loaf and/or the Kinnickinick bread. Ener-G an Kinnickinick are probably the two most popular breads. None will be as light as wheat/white bread, but those two taste the closest.
Post back here or under the products section if you can't find a good gluten-free version of some food.

Remember, though, Karen, that it may not be the same in Canada. Mireille might be able to direct you to a good list like this one for Canada. I think the list Delphi provides only applies to the US

I'm not vegan, so I'm not going to be able to help you much on this, but I just want to say that health-wise it is very important that you get enough protein. Fat insulates and helps with nerve signals, carbs are the only thing your brain will use for energy (that's what's wrong with the low-carb diet...), but protein does basically everything else--muscles, most hormones, any healing that needs to be done, etc. The main problem that might arise w/ a vegan diet is that you don't get all the amino acids, since veggies only have some of the essential ones. So basically, with veggies, get a wide variety and maybe do a search on amino acids or amino acids vegan....
I'll inform a vegan/vegetarian/veggie (I don't know the difference, so I can't specify which one) of this post
Oh, I highly recommend the Clan Thompson booklets, see Open Original Shared Link ....they list verification date, phone number, gluten status, and vegetarian status.

I see your point...I don't know when the month is--just posting an article.

Right. Avoid wood and teflon. But in terms of regular, metal utensils, don't worry.
What Can I Eat On Holiday In Usa?

Sorry, I'm back again
...not much on here in terms of Orlando that doesn't include Disney World. A lot of chains in the US have gluten-free menus, though, such as:
McDonalds
Wendys
Outback Steakhouse
TGIF
PF Changs
...if you go to the "dining out" section or maybe "travel" you'd find information (menus) for all of these.
