  1. We have a Cinzetti's where I live, but because of the buffet style I have been reluctant to go back there. Their foods mostlyl have gravys, sauces and/or pasta. Way too expensive to go and just have salad. I'll be interested to hear if you had a good experience there.

  10. I just bought a box of Ener-G egg replacer - I don't see anything in the ingredients list that would include corn. What are you referring to? Ingredients: Potato starch, tapioca flour, leavening (calcium lactate, calcium carbonate, citric acid) cellulose gum, carbohydrate gum. Calcium lactate is not dairy derived. It does not contain lactose.
  11. I agree. When first going gluten-free I wanted to buy all the "goodies" to replace what I couldn't eat anymore. Some are very good, but many are only a poor immitation, and all of them are full of starch and fat - not what I need to be eating since I'm overweight.   12. I read someplace that the Japanese use stevia in their diet sodas - they never used aspertame and it's outlawed. They are smarter than us in that me thinks.

  24. I used to order potato skins from a Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood. LOADED WITH FAT but OH SO GOOD. They were deep fat fried, topped with greasy seasoned meat, cheese, sour cream, bacon and fresh tomatoes (the ONLY good food in the whole mess). I miss them!
