  1. Carla do you know what causes low adrenal function? I am glad you have found a doctor who wants to figure this out and not just medicate you. Cecile, I am so glad it is now only a storm coming your way. Oh yes, I don't get tired of looking at your lovely smiling face. Hello everyone, it has been a pretty good day for me, I am painting the front...
  2. Here's what I do, I lie down, I lie still and I count my exhalations to ten over and over again, all the while allowing myself to sink beneath my thoughts, seeing my thoughts as just reflections on the surface of the river as if I am rock settled deeply below all the rushing. I am so glad the storm has abated and hope that it will be just a rainy night...
  3. I have been wondering too. I am clear that whether Celiac or gluten intolerant a gluten free diet has greatly improved my life, as has cutting out dairy but it seems to me that in some ways I am getting worse. My digestion has improved but I have back pain that day by day seems to be getting worse. I have had health problems for nearly twenty years...
  4. Wow clean and without knots. Please keep updating us on the weather, I'll keep you in my prayers. Tavi, pleased to meet you, I've seen you around and have appreciated your posts. I'd be glad to be your friend. I am wondering how long each of us has been ill and what the totality of our symptoms are. I know many of my problems are clearly problems...
  5. Sure and everyone should have such a cosy home , Cecile your photo is terrifying and hugely funny all at once. ROTFLMAO Just driving by, I'll be back.
  6. Leah, I am so sorry about your friend. It is hard to lose those we love. I will keep you and she in my prayers. Susan, I'm so sorry that you have been having a rough time. Robbin, I've decided to look at producing one product as a beginning to further products and a cafe. The reality is that I am not well enough to take on full time work. ...
  7. Hi and welcome. Lots of good advice I won't repeat, I will just add that there are studies showing connections between MSG and weight gain. It is in pretty much everything processed. EEK!
  8. Carla, I've been using the Spectrum organic coconut oil, did I say butter? The Salt/Vitamin C treatment is being used by people with Lyme disease. Just google Salt/C and lots of information comes up. After reading about it, it just made sense to me that the lack of good salt in out diets has changed us in a way that makes us vulnerable to bacterial infections...
  9. Hello everyone. I've never tried Tazorac but lately I have been using coconut butter and feel like my skin is looking a little better. Does anyone else use it? I've had more energy lately, thanks to the Salt/Vitamin C treatment and still have my house torn up with projects. I am going to try to take photos of the floors in stages so the process...
  10. Open Original Shared Link Check this out, fluoride could be the problem in the water for stomach problems and rashes. Open Original Shared Link Check this out.
  11. Thanks for the post Miamia, very informative. I find myself thinking about all of you and wondering how you are doing. I've been trying the Salt/Vitamin treatment that has been used successfully for Lyme Disease. I am taking a 1/4 teaspoon of Real Salt and Vitamin C twice a day in a glass of water and have been doing so for the past twelve days. I...
  12. I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, although I haven't lost as much weight as you have at one point no matter what I ate I continued to lose. I was consuming more calories than I was using but because of the damage I wasn't gaining. I think this is difficult for people to understand, they keep asking what I am eating as if they are going...
  13. I don't know so much but I do know that is true for Lyme.
  14. I've had floaters in my vision but until yesterday didn't know they were related to Lyme disease. I've been gluten free since the beginning of May except for accidental glutenings, also I'm off dairy and although I have seen an improvement I have begun to wonder whether or not I might have Lyme in addition to Celiac or whether Lyme triggered the Celiac....
  15. I'm sorry not to be of any help, just wanted to say I hope you get some answers and I'm glad to know you are planning on trying a gluten free diet regardless. It can be an accurate diagnostic tool. It must be so hard to see your child suffer.
  16. More interesting scientificness. Rachel, I'm sorry to hear that you have to deal with the possibility of Endometriosis along with everything else. Great photo. Judy, nice to see you. I'll get another avatar up, just decided it was enough of being glamorous. I think I've been herxing, very irritable, aches where I don't generally...
  17. I recently bought some Enjoy Life Carmel Apple Snack Bars and ate one. I thought it tasted horrible and I felt like I had been glutened.
  18. Toni, I hear you. My Mom, who has been sick for at least thirty years and is currently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, arthritis, diverticulosis, fibroid breast disease, very low blood pressure and probably others I can't think of but tells me she doesn't have Celiac said to me well I don't think you're that sick. I have melted, I am ill and the fact...
  19. Welcome, I won't repeat the many helpful comments people have made, only that I have found all of what they have said to be helpful. It took me weeks to get to the point of feeling confident that I was not accidentally glutening myself, dairy was the next thing to go and now I am avoiding soy, corn and grains in general although I will have a little...
  20. Hi and welcome. Sherri gave you some good advice. I have had a lifetime of constipation and digestive issues and for the past fifteen years have been 30 - 40 pounds overweight. I've lost a lot of weight since January, about 30 pounds. It started with major gastric issues in the late fall and by January when I saw the doctor I felt horrible. She prescribed...
  21. The first thing that pops to mind is meet all of you. Then: I'd like to start a business that supported right livelihood. I'd like to get to know my grandchild, arriving in November. I'd like to travel, especially to Japan and India. I'd like to grow a little town with friends so that when retirement comes round I'll have a country...
  22. Hi, I used a high adhesion primer, then regular paint, mis-tints actually, first orange which I first painted the whole floor with, then I taped off wide sections so it would look like planks of wood, then the fuschia which I mixed with glaze and tints and after applying it I used a wood graining tool, then I glazed the whole thing with varathane tinted in...
  23. Hi everyone, glad to see Rachelville continuing. Mango, I'm sorry you feel so bad but glad to know that you are well enough to be amused, I've done it to myself too. I know it is just part of a learning curve but sometimes I just want a break from having to be so very vigilant. I am utterly impressed by your courage in venturing out there, these days...
