  1. Okay, research: Open Original Shared Link And a good information for not over indulging in goat cheese. Oh well, at least a little every now and then.
  2. Would that be Susan pulling a Chocolate Dave?
  3. That's good to know, thanks. I am really careful with the amount of goat cheese I eat but just knowing that I can have it makes me feel better. Your meals sound delicious.
  4. Welcome Lilla and Han Jam, this place is great for making connections as you have just discovered. Lilla, I hope you will check out some past threads, there is lots of information here on testing for Celiac and the real problems of getting an accurate diagnosis. A gluten free diet is a diagnostic tool and it is one you have control over.
  5. I would say it is possible that it is the flour, have you checked out the other thread that is talking about this too?
  6. I am off dairy generally but find that occasionally I can tolerate a little goat cheese, apparently goat and sheep milk cheeses are easier for people with reactions to cow milk to tolerate, and there is a goat cheese cheddar that with the Tinkyada rice noodles is very good.
  7. That was some party. Here is a sample of what someone finds when they google Rachelville.
  8. Susan, I open another window and then post to it, going back and forth between the two but I see the Village Idiot (obviously slipping up on the idiocy part ) just gave us a brilliant solution. I think I need a chocolate intervention. I don't have the full range of histamine reactions but I definitely notice an agitation and I sneeze. I realize that...

    ARCHIVED Symptoms

Hi. Soy is hidden in all sorts of things, even 100% olive oil so that might be it. After being glutened everything makes me feel bad, it lasts a couple of days for me but I think everyone is different.
  10. I worked in a bakery when I was 23 and though I didn't eat the products, after the first couple of months, I would still experience exhaustion, brain fog, dry mouth and swollen eyes after a day at work. I also started to get migraines that year. These days I won't even go into a bakery nor is there any gluten in our home. I definitely think the flour...
  11. Julie, I do think histamines are a problem for me, I know it means sacrificing the bananas for a while. Susan, I'm in Manitoba, Canada. It is incredible to think that just one thousand dollars can buy so much but in these little prairie towns there are houses that sell for five and ten thousand dollars. I got really sick after eating broccoli...
  12. Yes, if you are going BACK it might be a good idea to leave word with someone.
  13. I am sitting here laughing out loud, this is the best medicine. I'm so sorry to hear that. I know how it feels. Welcome Dave - Village Idiot, I don't know about that, it seems to me you have to be quite brilliant just to appreciate the job. Andrea, I love our jobs list, thank you again for doing it, oh and Rachel's criterion for...
  14. Morning everyone. Patti, I'll answer to either. I must admit I like Rinne, sort of a self-nickname and I always wanted one, that is one that my brothers didn't give to me. Lynne that is a wonderful story but more than that it is a wonderful way to live a life.
  15. Yes I am Rhonda but there was already one posting so I chose Rinne. So sleepy, just enough energy to catch up on my reading. Welcome Isonic.
  16. You can also cook some white rice in chicken broth until it starts to fall apart and adding some finely diced carrot and onion would give it a little more flavour.
  17. Here is a link Cecile: Open Original Shared Link
  18. Patti, I am having problems with my vitamins too, I started taking a liquid vitamin but then threw up the other morning and was sick to my stomach for several hours and now I don't know what to do. I seem to be stalled, I got quite a bit better and then I just got stuck. Page 300, that is just too amazing. The corn science is scary and yes...
  19. And what did you say that was silly?
  20. Hi everyone, a quiet day. Andrea, thank you for posting our jobs.
  21. Welcome and congratulations on figuring this out. I worked in a bakery many years ago and it was the year my migraines began. I knew that the pastries didn't agree with me, I got foggy, and I didn't eat many. I know now that just working in that environment was toxic. Gluten free baking is different than regular baking but if you love to bake you will...
  22. Sorry you aren't sleeping tonight Cecile. I had a long day, lots of fun but I'm tuckered out. Good night all.
  23. Welcome Beverly and yes Rachelville is a fun place to be. And no one should feel they have to read nearly three hundred pages even though every one of those pages is fascinating. Robbin, I have been going twice a week since January for acupuncture and I do think it is making a difference. He hasn't been working on my back directly though, just my...
  24. ROTFLMAO and these moments just add to a fun day. I think the limit is twenty minutes for ice off for an hour then twenty minutes....but where is the town physiotherapist? Susan, that is wonderful news.

    ARCHIVED Rough Time

Sorry you are feeling so rotten. I ate a lot of rice in the beginning, I got very sick of rice too but at least it was easy to digest and filling. Have you tried Ensure or a product like that? I think protein is key, I used to have low blood sugar and would feel like I was going to faint or lose my mind if I didn't eat immediately but after increasing...
