Hair Color

I need some help in finding a gluten free at home hair dye kit.  I have called up all the major companies asking them to help but they all say take list to your doctor. Yes - i am sure my doctor knows what every ingredient in hair dye is and wants to spend time with me picking out hair color - NOT!!!  Does anybody have any thoughts/knowledge on this?

Gluten is not absorbed through the skin. Is there some reason you are concerned about hair dye?

I don't worry about hair dye. It's not likely to get in my mouth like shampoo in the shower. It's not an every day thing like a shampoo might be.

There are a few dyes, shampoos and conditioners that clearly state wheat germ oil....I don't remember which. So read the labels. They are darn proud of that poison seed juice ( wheat germ oil) and will proudly list it.

Garnier Nutritioness (I think that is spelled right) is gluten free as most of their hair products. They will clearly label gluten ingredients. I touch my hair a lot so I personally prefer my hair care products as well as all body products to be gluten free.

There are others that are also safe so a board search should bring up more brands.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
