Hey everyone,

 

As far as I am aware, Wholesoy yogurt is gluten-free and I am lactose intolerant. In their webpage, they mention they are working on aquiring their own factory. I am not sure when they will be able to put back their soy yogurt on store shevels. BUT, has anyone seen any wholesoy products on storer shelves yet in your area? I have already contacted the Wholesoy company and they just responded with "we will be back in late 2013"... I really like this product a lot and I hope they are coming back. I would consider alternatives, but for now I have my heart and taste buds set on this. Thanks for reading and the future input. Ciao for now

I hope you find it. I live in the last place to get anything, so I'm no help. Just wanted you to know we are reading this  and hoping for the best.

I've been waiting for months for my soy yogurt and have been watching their website.  Trader Joe's shelves have been empty, so I'm pretty sure they supply them under the TJ label.  The good news is that I have found "Silk" yogurt and it's just as good.  Wholesoy is going to have a tough time regaining market share.  If they continue work with Trader Joe -- I'm in.  

 

BTW -- It's high in carbs, so I use it as a treat only.

I am still trying to find out mbrooks. There is even a Whole Foods store here where I live, it seems like a hippie store (no offense to anyone taking offense) and I think they have specialty items. I will have to check there as soon as I can. I am stilll checking the Wholesoy site for info. Stay in touch!

I know of a TJ in my area, I forget to check there. So the Silk is good? I can try it, I guess.

      I suggested she just not eat gluten ans still have the scope because of the pain she has been having.  She has lost significant weight and is failure to thrive at almoat 21.  She has had GERD and bleeding ulcers previously and is having those issues now.  She also has systemic sclerosis, so we know those things are issues with that.  We will find her a new doctor back home too.

      Not only is the doctor being ridiculous, having her make herself ill so he can re-diagnose her already diagnosed celiac disease, but one week of gluten, while able to cause GI symptoms, might not be enough to cause new damage visible with a biopsy. So if she follows his advice he might say she doesn’t have celiac disease! She needs a different doctor.

      Welcome to the forum, @Colleen H! NSAIDs can damage small bowel villi like celiac disease does and can also cause peptic ulcers. It would be safer to use a prescription COX 2 inhibitor like celecoxcib which are easier on the gut. But even they should be used as sparingly as possible.

      Apparently, the new GI doc is not buying the previous diagnosis of celiac disease and feels the need to confirm it for himself/herself. I would look for another doctor.

      Hi all !! Just curious because I am reading opposite information when I try to research. I'm fairly new.  I have all the strange symptoms including horrible jaw pain  Are we " allowed"  to take ibuprofen for jaw and back pain ?  If not any suggestions? I noticed with this pain also comes the nausea.  I find myself eating unsweetened applesauce.  Then having to take something for pain.😞. However, im wondering if I'm just creating a larger mess for myself if I should not be taking ibuprofen. I am open to suggestions and thank you so much !!
