Cracker Question

What cracker do y'all think is closest to good ol' Premium Saltines? I love raw oysters, but I want a cracker with them, and so far none seem as good as (or even close to) Saltines.

I like the Breton gluten free. YUMMY!!!

I have heard rave reviews about the Breton gluten-free, but, alas it is a myth in east Tennessee lolz  -_-  I have tried other crackers but have yet to purchase the holy grail that is Breton ;)

I haven't had a cracker that even comes close to a saltine.  I learned a long time ago not to compare gluten free items with a gluten counterpart.  It was a big disappointment.  My family likes the Schar table cracker, Glutino crackers, Nut Thins/Nut Thin Artisan, and Nabisco gluten free crackers.

I haven't found anything like a Saltine.  These have a nice bland flavor that might be good in soup.  They are not salty & are thick so might not melt well in soup.  They do hold up well to cheese spreads or PB. They are more like an "oyster cracker" in taste I would think. They also have a "table cracker" that might be OK.  I haven't tried them yet.

Breton crackers  are  very yummy but  do contain soy which is not good for me....

The closest  cracker  out there  to a  saltine  is Galbusera.. zero grano., they  come  from Italy  &  are  packaged in  4 crackers  to  a wrapper  with  12 twelve  wrappers  in a  package....the only thing  is  they are  not  salty like a  salted  saltine... but again  we are told to limit  salt intake for  health  reasons....and  if  you reall want  salt  you can  dampen  the  tops  with water  & add  salt or  butter  them then add salt....

Mission tortilla rounds.  Thinner than saltines but otherwise not a bad sub.  Prolly saltier tho.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
