Hi, last year i tested for celiac my Tissu transglutaminase IgA lev was 20.3 U/ml but my Endomysial antibody IgA level was negative. I again tested just recently because i have symptoms of fatigue, bloating etc and my Tissu transglutaminase IgA lev was 26.5 but i again tested negative for my Endomysial antibody IgA level I have now been referred... -

Great article! Important in itself. I do recognize my overall sensitivity to food. It may possibly explain why I prefer to cook when past experience with cooks who may just be a little less hygenic, but do watch glutens have caused stomach upsets.- bacteria

Yeah I can increase the amount to 500mg/day and see what happens. I know I haven't been consistent enough in supplementing vitamins.

By the way, you are confusing the terms "negative" and "positive" as they are used in medical testing. "Negative" means the test resulted in no evidence of disease. "Positive" means the test result found evidence of disease. So, your tTG-IGA result was positive and the endomysial (aka, EMA) was negative. And, by the way, it is not unusual for to get mixed results like that. You can have celiac disease and still find that not all the various tests will show positive results. But let me ask you, have you or had you been experimenting with a reduced gluten diet prior to the testing? -

Wanted to know could this mean i have coeliac, because its only ‘weakly’ negative considering the range is 0.0-14.9 or could it be something else

Not yet, been waisting time on western doctors. I went yesterday to my pcp thought we were on same page, I gave him the downplayed confirmed celiac medical note from bay area. As a patient I shouldn't have to Chase my medical, my medical SHOULD stick to us.Im am so exhausted and angery how medical has been, my whole way of thinking of our system is completely changed.i wish I can upload my letter from KB

@Jmartes71, Have you tried a naturopathic or holistic doctor? Some posters in the past have commented theirs were more helpful than mainstream doctors.
