How long does a bad reaction take to start?

If you eat something that bothers you, something maybe you didn't even know would bother you (could have had a corn ingredient in it, or some sort of additive), how long before you start feeling discomfort?  Would it be possible to have something in the morning, but not have it start bothering you until right after dinner?  

I was starting to feel a little better (stomach wise) and getting the hang of things, but every now and then I seem to eat something (with no gluten) that bothers me.  An example - one morning I had Dunkin Donuts hazelnut coffee (the kind you buy in the store and go home and brew yourself, not one you get right at DD with the flavor syrup added). The ingredients were coffee, and natural and artificial flavorings.  I took a chance and had some very early in the morning, and  I was fine all day.  I made soup that night for dinner.  I put in a few gluten-free chicken bouillon cubes.  Immediately after dinner I got hard bloat and discomfort.  I assumed it had to be the chicken bouillon cubes since that is what I had just ingested.  But I had them once before and don't recall getting bad.   So all I could think of was some sort of delayed reaction to that morning's coffee?  Has that ever happened to any of you?  I am actually hoping it was just the bouillon because I can easily do without that.  But it sure was nice to have a flavored coffee.  I am guessing I wait until my stomach has been doing well again for a while, and then try the coffee again, and see if it bothers me or not?  And then do the same with the chicken bouillon too at some point?  Is that what you all do? To try to find out what item it was that bothered you?  I guess from now on I need to only add a new food or drink if I know every other single thing I eat that day and night is something I know for sure I eat all the time and does not bother me.  

It is getting confusing.  I usually make homemade mashed potato, but did get some instant and had it the other night.  I also had a gluten-free turkey burger with it that I've been eating several times the past few months, and it seems fine.  But I had the instant mashed potato with it one night, and had some bloat and discomfort.  It sure is trial and error, isn't it?  Sometimes I eat something with a corn ingredient in and and seem okay. Other times I have something else with corn in it and it bothers me.  I am guessing I should just now stay away from all corn, period, and not that the chance.

      @Jmartes71, I went to Doterra's site and had a look around.  The Doterra TerraZyme supplement really jumped out at me.  Since we, as Celiacs, often have digestive problems, I looked at the ingredients.  The majority of the enzymes in this supplement are made using black mold, Aspergillus!  Other enzymes are made by yeast Saccharomyces!  Considering the fact that Celiac often have permeable intestines (leaky gut syndrome), I would be very hesitant to take a product like this.  Although there may not be live black mold or yeast in the product, the enzymes may still cause an immune system response which would definitely cause inflammation throughout the body.   Skin, eyes, and intestines are all made from the same basic type of cells.  Your skin on the outside and eyes can reflect how irritated the intestines are on the inside.  Our skin, eyes, and intestines all need the same vitamins and nutrients to be healthy:  Vitamin A, Niacin B3 and Tryptophan, Riboflavin B2, Biotin B7, Vitamin C, and Omega Threes.  Remember that the eight B vitamins work together.  Just taking high doses of just one, vitamin like B12, can cause a deficiency in the others.  Taking high doses of B12 can mask a Folate B9 deficiency.  If you take B12, please take a B Complex, too.  Thiamine B1 can be taken in high doses safely without toxicity.  Thiamine is needed by itself to produce energy so every cell in the body can function, but Thiamine also works with the other B vitamins to make life sustaining enzymes and digestive enzymes.  Deficiencies in either Niacin, Vitamin C, or Thiamine can cause digestive problems resulting in Pellagra, Scurvy, and Gastrointestinal Beriberi.   If you change your diet, you will change your intestinal microbiome.  Following the Autoimmune Protocol Diet, a Paleo diet, will starve out SIBO bacteria.  Thiamine keeps bacteria in check so they don't get out of control as in SIBO.  Thiamine also keeps MOLDS and Yeasts from overgrowth.   Menopause symptoms and menstrual irregularities are symptomatic of low Vitamin D.   Doctors are not as knowledgeable about malnutrition as we need them to be.  A nutritionist or dietician would be more helpful.   Take control of your diet and nutrition.  Quit looking for a pill that's going to make you feel better overnight.  The Celiac journey is a marathon, not a sprint.   "Let food be your medicine, and let medicine be your food."

      The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

      I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

      Anyone experimented with Taurine supplementation either via electrolyte powders or otherwise? Thanks

      Yarrow Pom works really well with the skin issues I found out.I had to stop so my doterra because dealing with medical celiac circus. I had shingles in Feb 2023. Prayers for healing
