i have a bean recipe that my family loves, it's just a matter of making sure i buy the gluten versions of everything in it----does anyone know about liquid smoke---this is what makes the recipe so good. i have figaro brand hickory lidquid smoke and barbeque marinade. the 2 suspicious ingredients are caramel color and spices. some info i got from the doc's office says that caramel color is most likely safe. what do you think (there is no phone number) does anyone know of a brand this is unquestionably safe?

:( Dang... I'd like to know about any of the LIQUID SMOKE flavorings too, because my husband & I "smoke & cure" our own meat, such as Wild Game, (Deer, Elk) and also fresh Trout. (fish) We also do our own Jerky meat as well. Most of the Liquid Smoke flavorings don't have alot of information posted on thier labels. Guess I'll have to look into this one.........

Gee THANKS for the info here on the Liquid Smoke brand... I looked at some of the ones I have the other day, and they are the "Wright" brand of Liquid Smoke. I still haven't checked into this, to see whether it is safe or not. Gosh.... if "Colgin" comes in big GALLON containers, WOW--- that would last a Life time! :D

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
