I can't find them in stores here and miss cheerios like blazes, so was wondering if anyone had tried the new Honey O's yet. I'm getting sick of spending tons of money and then hating the stuff I buy. I love thier granola, but haven't tried anything else from then cause its not stocked on shelves here.

hi

I haven't tried this bran but I now have Glutino and Heartland's O's. Both are pretty good. I bought one honey nut and one plain and I mix them together. I also now that celiac specialities has one out also as well as Perky's....

I have been traveling around buying different brands to find the best tasting so I've been a guiney pig several times but at least I know what is the best. If there's anything I can suggest to you that you are looking for just e-mail me and I'll let you know what I think if I've tried it before........

They are brand new and kind of hard to find on the web site. I love thier granola and bars, so I'll probably break down and order some.

I have looked in 5-6 stores, including 2 health food stores, for the Health Valley Rice and Corn Crunch 'Ems. I have been craving party mix but can't find these cereals anywhere!

I found them at Whole Foods... if you can't find them at your local stores, try to ask the buyers if they can order them for you

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
