Bread Machine And Recipe Recommendations?

I was thinking of going ahead and buying a bread machine. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was told that, because the flours are dense, we need to get one that is heavy duty. Is this true? Does anyone also have some bread recipes they'd be willing share? Thanks!

I bought the Zojirushi BBCCX20 in Dec. right after diagnosis. It's a little more expensive than some, but after researching decided, imo, it was the best bang for the buck.

What I read in the reviews, are the benefits that I can now attest to:

1-Heavy-duty

2-Two paddles rather than 1

3-Mixes very well (have never had to scrap down sides)

4-Bread is very easily removed from pan every time

5-Easy clean up

6-Doesn't have a "gluten-free setting" but is programmable. (That is, I followed 1-time program instructions that took about 3-5 minutes, and from that point forward, I just press Reset>Start)

7-Great bread, (always rises, insides and crust never over/under cooked).

The above list is not prioritized, just the random way they came to me. I ordered mine from Amazon. Which was also a great experience. I've ordered from them a lot. It was the first time I'd ever had to return anything to them; my machine got beat up in shipping. I contacted Amazon customer service, and they had another one on the way immediately. My new machine and a pre-paid shipping label to return the defective one arrived the same day just a couple of days later. I re-boxed the damaged one, slapped on the return label, handed it to UPS and never looked back.

I've been happy, happy and would definitely buy this again, knowing what I now know. I never baked bread before, and still just stick to the mixes, but I love my Zojirushi.

Mixes I've tried and liked...Gluten Free Pantry, Pamela's, Kinnikinnick.

I bought a zojirushi also and love it. I only eat anna's bread mix so I don't have any scratch recipes but there are many on this site. It cost about $200.00 but is well worth the price. Its a workhorse.

As far as I know and I have made severalonline searches, celiac disease disease has not been recognized as a cause of migraines or any eye problems. What I wrote must have been confusing.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
