Coeliac flare up lasting several weeks. Just had 2nd covid vaccine . Could it have triggered a flare up, (I know vaccine is gluten free , just wondered about immune response to vaccine triggering flare up)

Just a coincidence, I think unless the ramping up of the immune system in response to the shot made you more sensitive to any gluten ingested.

It's pretty well documented that these vaccines, especially the 2nd dose, can cause gastro issues which can be bad in some people. It may feel like the symptoms of celiac disease, but probably isn't related.

I have been searching all over to see if this has happened to anyone else. I am on day 9 post first Pfizer shot 1. Symptoms  set int around 36hrs in the middle of the night, severe intestinal pain, just like I had been glutened. I've continued to have diarrhea since.  With a painful and distended abdomen.

I had second Moderna shot in mid-January. I had nausea, headache, fatigue and myalgia at 18 hours in. Then like a miracle it went away. Thank you vaccine makers.

Both my wife and daughter had GI symptoms after their vaccines, my wife after her 2nd Moderna which lasted about a week, and my daughter after her first Pfizer and lasted a few days.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
