Source of "glutenated"

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced random "glutenated attacks" as I call them.  I was diagnosed in January with Celiac and have worked very hard to avoid gluten.  However, I have found that I have become ill on random occasions (like today) with all my usual symptoms of getting exposed to gluten.  I don't know it's from cross contamination or what, but it is very frustrating.  Has anyone else experienced this? FYI-We are not a gluten free household due to cost.  It's only me that remains gluten free.

Thank you for reading my post.

Many members have reported similar episodes, and it can sometimes be hard to track down the root cause, especially if you are living in a non-gluten-free household.

I recommend that you keep a food diary so you can look back whenever this happens. It's also possible that you have additional food intolerance issues, for example to oats or dairy/casein. Keeping a food diary might help you figure this out.

Eating at restaurants is a very common source of contamination.

Also consider if you are getting exposed to any airborne gluten. feeding farm animals (I got glutened bad from feeding my neighbor's chickens), home construction going on? Glue? Playdough? Petting or getting licked by pets that eat gluten?

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.

I was commenting on the report saying it did not mention migraines! Yes it does last paragraph says have not seen any evidence that Celiac cause migraines! I thought this was about truth?

It has been known for some years that celiacs suffer from migraines at a higher rate than the general populatation. It is an established symptom.
