Today I got a tattoo! B)

But it was near my lower bod.

And I'm the glutenless gas queen.

Needless to say, the tattoo artist was relatively cute.

I sure wasn't after I had to excuse my toots.

Should have asked him if he wanted his car filled up.

Luckily, he laughed. And he asked about celiac, THEN said that his buddy has IBS but he thinks that it could be something else and wants to research it now for him. So it actually was good!

Every negative has a positive :D

Hey thanks! What did you get?

It didn't hurt, per se.. More of a painful annoying poking that I just wanted to be over. But I definitely was very uncomfy.

I was cracking up when I read your post! I had to share it with my hubby.

When I was in my prime celiac days and still eating lots and lots of gluten, I had the nastiest gas. That was part of the reason I had to get checked out. I knew there was no way. I laugh now, but it was embarrassing then (because when you have to share a room with 3 other basketball players on a road trip.....)

I went with my 18 year old son to get a tatoo! Pretty funny! I had a rose with its stem that was "C" shaped. It did hurt. My son brought his girlfriend with us thinking that I would cry because of the pain and they would get to watch me squirm. Not one bit of squirming came from me! What did you get?

I got a pseudo angel (sort of a oval with a halo), interlinked with another oval, signifying my mom (the angel), and I.

Interesting, when I suffered for a few months with ectopics I noticed that carbohydrates would cause indigestion and bloating in my stomach, then that would lead to my heart skipping beats, and I could feel it in my throat, it was very unsettling.  My last serious bout of this was after eating a Muller Rice Pudding for breakfast.   I happened to be wearing a 48 hour halter at the time and cardiology picked it up, but they weren't worried about what they saw. There was some British doctor who'd made some videos on the Vagus nerve that I remember watching at the time which made sense of what I was experiencing, there did seem to be some sort of connection.

I asked my cardiologist about stopping vitamins.  He said his tests account for all detectable vitamins from sources other than food.  I only need to stop them for a couple of days.  He has me keep records of meds and vitamins I've ingested over the past 10 days and prior and he does his calculations.

Reply to treats I try and eat to bring up the glucose. Sometime I get up 3 times a night and eat something. I don't think food is the issue. A lot of the food they say should help doesn't.  Many mornings my level is 59 and I feel sick, sometimes for hours. It has been recommended I go to an Endocrinologist.
