Maybe you were brought here for a different reason ... maybe you will need to know in the future what a bulls-eye rash looks like ... hopefully so you can help someone -- a complete stranger rather than a friend of family member :P -- get treatment right away in an attempt to avoid chronic lyme.

I'm here for support too and I've made some good friends. :)

Hi y'all- Drive by hello. I just haven't been able to keep up with the thread (tired- my mojo went wherever Richard's did- hope they're having fun!) But, I heard that you were wondering where I'd been (hope the dingos were not sent out) :ph34r:

Hi Bev, good to see you :) I was about to call for a Dingo rescue :lol: I haven't been able to keep up either, my brain has been all in a fog, nothing computes...

Quick question, what test kit do I order from IGenX? Are there many to choose from? If someone has specifics regarding this I would so grateful for the info :)

...and I apologize in advance if this has been asked/covered already, I just don't want to go back and get lost :blink:

Another quick question, does it absolutley positively 100% have to be IGenX???? Can other labs competently do the western blot testing?

Question about Igeneix--if a miracle occurs, and my new doctor will test me for Lyme, can she order the test from them--or does she just send the blood sample to them :blink:

In answer to the question as to a girl or boy, they don't know and are looking forward to being surprised. I am thinking, of course, that this is going to be the cutest baby ever, he has red hair and she is Japanese. I keep wandering into baby shops and picking up sleepers and such and thinking a real baby is going to fit in these. :lol: I am so happy for them and for me too.

I would have blamed my mojo as well - that is until Ms. Beverly from Beverly posted Open Original Shared Link on another thread. Now I'm REALLY CONCERNED about my mojo :o . If they've run off together I can only imagine...

Sometimes it's more fun that way. Let somebody else watch the kids on the plane :P Maybe they can "help" the flight attendant :)

I was afraid of that--I'll take it one step at a time. Thanks :)

I had my kids back in the dark ages--we never knew if we were having a boy or girl--it was just a nice surprise. (But, I "knew" they were both boys--I could feel it)

Julie, I think Bowen is a lab that is also considered reliable but I would want to check on that. Stephen Buhner, in "Healing Lyme" talks about the various tests and their weakness, it looks like there are new tests coming that are more reliable than the Western Blot. There is one that Bowen labs does now I think. He talks about Igenex as being an excellent lab and the importance of the quality of the lab work done. It is a little beyond my capacity for scientificness at the moment but basically Igenex pays close attention to detail and many other labs don't.

I don't know. My doctor's office took care of it all but then they use Igenex on a regular basis. Have you checked the Igenex site, maybe it says on there?

Yes- Richard and i suspect our mojos have run away together (we think we were twins seperated at birth- I was adopted so it's possible). We suspect they have gone on a vacation somewhere tropical. Like this:

I hope they're having fun! I got soyed and then glutened (by body lotion which I read the ingredients on and realized once it was way too late and i had already racheled a bag of gluten-free breadsticks :angry: ). Soy + gluten=pain and the blues.

Missing my mom this Thanksgiving too. Sorry I'm being a party pooper. I'll try to cheer up!

For Igenex, if it's a lab that your doc doesn't normally use, you call them and order the kit for no charge. You take it to your doctor, then he/she takes the blood and sends it in. I would order the kit just to be sure.

Bev, it's our job to cheer YOU up!!! Just take another look at Richard's turkey ... it's really good for a laugh! Wouldn't it be funny to put foil over your turkey so that it looks like that on Thanksgiving!!! :lol:

I still miss my dad after 10 years! You're entitled to feel blue! I always think of him still on his birthday, father's day, Christmas etc.

      I'm no longer dealing with constipation. I got my liver test last month and it was in normal range. Two years ago I did have a vitamin D deficiency but I'm know taking vitamin D3 pills. Last month I got my vitamin D checked and it was in normal range. I don't believe I've had my choline checked. However, I do drink almond milk eat Greek yogurt on a daily...

      If you have hemorrhoids 1x weekly I don't see how you have time to heal from one episode before you experience another one, unless each one is a very minor event. Have you consulted a physician about your hemorrhoid issue? It's not normal to be having an episode every week unless it is really one episode that is not completely healing between weekly...

Have you been supplementing Iron? How are your liver enzymes? Low levels of ferritin indicate iron deficiency, while  59% transferrin saturation indicates high iron levels.  Possibly indicating Fatty Liver Disease.  Choline is crucial for liver health, and deficiency is a known trigger for Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver.  Some experts say that less than 10% eat the the Food and Nutrition Board established Adequate Intake that are based on the prevention of liver damage. Severe constipation and hemorrhoids may be linked to a bile or choline deficiency.  "Ninety-five percent of phospholipids (PLs) in bile is secreted as phosphatidylcholine or lecithin."  Fatty acid composition of phospholipids in bile in man   Deficiency of these bile salts causes the bile to get thick. Some people with Celiac Disease are misdiagnosed with Gall Bladder bile issues.  Removal of the gallbladder provides only temporary relief. Whether or not celiac disease or NCGS are your issues you need to look at your vitamin D blood level.
