The bunny left me some Dove dark chocolate eggs and the little Reese's eggs. There's no ingredient info on the Hershey website; are they ok to have? They're staring at me... :P

The Dove Dark Chocolate Eggs are gluten-free for sure--I've already eaten 2 bags of them this month

If the it's the shape of an egg but flat they are ok, but if the are shaped like a real egg, I don't believe they are gluten free. I saw that on a post just last week...I will find it and post the link.

Here it is: Open Original Shared Link

i have to say i wasn't visited by the easter bunny of any sort, but my friend did give me some teabags he didn't like, and they arn't staring at me. We all had an easter lunch too, and there was this gluten filled chocolate cake they bought staring at me, and then they ate it.."oooh this is so sweet i dont no if i can eat it all"...and one of them left a little bit on their plate...and grrr who leaves chocolate cake if u can eat it!!! especially when it's staring at me. I was offered croissants too <_< and this disgusting black kinda liquid bread stuff you have with icecream..and someone said to me can't u just eat a little bit so you know what it tastes like..and after politiely saying no i forget how many times to all the gluten food...someone said to me just have a little bit what harm can it do..and i pointed at the black liquid bread and said.."that". (Open Original Shared Link) I wasn't offered anymore food.

Just looking at that stuff makes me want to puke. Expecially when it turned out it's made of Rye (which always gave me the worst reactions). Disgusting. How can anyone eat that?

On a side note, my grandmother did this to me on my birthday. Got a champagne cake (expecially for me), not realizing that they use flour (I ask - how can anyone NOT realize they use flour in cake?), then proceeded to urge me to have some, just a bite, why don't you try it, etc. I finally gave up the "politeness" and just said "NO!" (Maybe even a bit too loudly & forcefully - but hey, she stopped asking)... :D

YAY!!!!

My son came home from the Easter Egg Hunt this year with more candy than he got even at Halloween - quite a lot of which are the mini PB Cups.

I think I will be helping him eat them.

Quite a lot... :D

This is the best news in a long while...I had no idea! Didn't even check, haven't had a Reese's for months....I suspect I'm due for a small binge today.... :P

Yes, the small egg shaped ones. But it seems my daughter was kind enough to remove temptation for me ;) and ate them all.

She's lucky she doesn't care for Dark Chocolate and left me all the Dove eggs!!!

I thought I had read on here somewhere that around holidays the Reese's cups and products do have gluten in them, but other times of the year they don't. I'd give somebody else the eggs that are staring at you and go out and get yourself some pb cups with a readable label and indulge without fear!

that's because Kate, you're such a lemon! :P That was you, wasn't it? If not, I'm going to feel like a bubblehead.

Kidding aside, that is SUCH a bummer! Did they get the reference to the black liquid bread? I hope so! :D

Uh-oh. I guess it's worth a phone call to Hershey's then to sort this out...

Besides I don't like the big ones as much as I like the mini's. (I sure hope they are gluten free, ciz I've had, like, ten of them in the past few days)... :o

Hershey plainly labels gluten-containing ingredents. If it doesn't say wheat, barley, rye, or oats, you're ok.

As far as I knew, the only gluteny reese's things were the mini eggs that are shaped like cadbury eggs.

Unfortunately my Bunny (my mom) didn't save the bags with the labels, so I couldn't tell!

But M&M's contain milk, and would not be at all like a Tootsie Roll.

I appreciate you validating me because medical is an issue and it's not ok at all they they do this. Some days I just want to call the news media and just call out these doctors especially when they are supposed to be specialist Downplaying when gluten-free when they should know gluten-free is false negative. Now dealing with other issues and still crickets for disability because I show no signs of celiac BECAUSE IM GLUTENFREE! Actively dealing with sibo and skin issues.Depression is the key because thats all they know, im depressed because medical has caused it because of my celiac and related issues. I should have never ever been employed as a bus driver. After 3 years still healing and ZERO income desperately trying to get better but no careteam for celiac other than stay away frim wheat! Now im having care because my head is affected either ms or meningioma in go in tomorrow again for more scans.I know im slowly dying and im looking like a disability chaser

M&M Peanuts. About the same calories and sugar while M&M Peanuts have fiber, potassium, iron and protein that Tootsie Rolls ("We are currently producing more than 50 million Tootsie Rolls each day.") don't. Click the links to compare nutritional values.  Both are made with sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.  I use them as a gluten free substitute for a peanut butter sandwich.  Try her on grass fed, pasture fed milk. While I get heartburn at night from commercial dairy milk, I do not from 'grassmilk'.

I see it everyday on my feeds.  They go out and buy gluten-free processed products and wonder why they can't heal their guts.  I don't think they take it as a serious immune disease. They pick up things off the internet which is so far out in left field.  Some days I would just like to scream.  So much better when we had support groups and being able to teach them properly. I just had an EMA blood test because I haven't had one since my Doctor moved away.  Got test results today, doctor ordered a D3 vitamin test.  Now you know what  type of doctors we have.  Now I will have to pay for this test because she just tested my D3 end of December, and still have no idea about my EMA.
